Are you addicted to wasting time like me?

Even though I have a shitload on my plate, I can't seem to control myself enough not to waste time like I used to do when I had more free time. I am essentially at a point where I should be spending just about every moment I'm awake doing something important, but I can't spend more than 20-30 minutes working on something at my computer without dicking around on Youtube or coming here for a few minutes. It then takes me a few minutes to snap out of it and remember that I'm supposed to be working.
It makes me feel kind of bad, because there are a few things coming up in the next few months that I really need to be prepared for, and at this rate I don't know if I will be prepared for them because I'm so easily distracted and unfocused.

Not quite, I do kill a lot of time, but still get everything done.
In the past when I've had trouble with time wasting, I would basically stop myself from doing anything as late into the day as possible. Once you start the habit, its much harder to stop. So I would just try and make it later into the day before indulging, later every day, eventually cutting the habit altogether if necessary. Worked really well

Yes, I'm an admitted procrastinator.
It is perhaps, my greatest obstacle.
Slowly overcoming it. One of my favorite corny motivational phrases is 'action precedes motivation', and I cannot stress how true that really is.

Thanks to the first two posters for your responses. It might clarify things for me to specify that procrastination is not the issue though I think.
The problem is I have 3 things (basically exams, extracurricular) coming up in the next 2 months and I need to be studying for all of them, on top of my graduate school workload. On top of that I'm spending roughly 2 hours a day in the gym. So every waking moment I pretty much need to be doing something related to those things. And I think I have the time and ability to do it but I just can't concentrate or focus.
I've also been in a really intense fog lately. When I cook food I often forget to turn the oven off for awhile even after I take it out. I forget little things and sometimes I'll straight up forget what I was in the middle of doing, when I'm in the middle of doing it. My mental state is probably one of the hardest things weighing me down right now.

Downtime is necessary though, I think its best to plan for a little and keep it at a reasonable level. Kind of like budgeting "spending" money, putting a little aside in the first place.
As a musician, I have to study works by ear on 2 instruments, compose on 3, work on technique and rehearse repertoire. Throw in whatever job, commute, exercise, groceries...
I know how you feel, but being able to sit down and do nothing for a few minutes burns off steam Too much productivity will turn you into a stressed out robot

Yes, definitely. I waste so much time at work and at home. At work Im in a cubicle and feel the urge to click on the Internet Explorer icon or check my phone every 15 or so minutes. It's really bad and makes me feel like shit. So I get up and move around doing other work that will keep me more occupied. But at my desk even if I sit there and try to concentrate, at the first roadblock in my work I almost subconsciously open up the Internet to read articles or get on Craigslist or something.
And when I get home I'm on the shroomery on my phone instead of practicing guitar. I still play a couple times per week but that's not enough to get good. I really need to change my ways.

I do take lots of down time though...more than I should. The thing is I don't actually work it into my daily plan. It sneaks in there naturally when my discipline lets down for a few minutes at a time and it really adds up.
