Who is the President by appointment?

Hypothetically speaking... if we didn't have elections, and the powers that be could just select whoever they wanted for POTUS... who would they pick?
And now once you've answered that question, ask yourself this... if you vote for the same person that would otherwise be appointed if we didn't have elections, then aren't you just contributing towards our elections being a mere formality (ie: a vacuous ritual with no real affect)?

That's different and you know it.
If everyone was smart enough to vote for themselves, we'd still be living the American Dream.

So my point is... if you vote for Hillary, all you're really doing is declaring that "they" ought to pick our President for us.
Because you know if they could get away with doing it without an actual election... they would. She would just be appointed by the "people in charge".
And that doesn't make you feel like a total schmuck? Helping them out by actually voting for their pre-appointed President?

No, you're not thinking this through all the way.
The 2016 election is not business as usual.
The establishment doesn't have controlled candidates in each of the two major parties this time around.
They only have one controlled candidate this time around and she's a Democrat nominee named Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Never before in my life have I seen the controlled media raise such a stink over one or the other of the two major party candidates.
Trump is not some John McCain/Mitt Romney clone that will satisfy the PTB, and hence would be given a half-way fair shot to win by popular election.
If you're smart you'll take notice.

If the establishment could've picked anyone, I strongly doubt they would have agreed upon Hillary Clinton.

Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps your right.
But as it stands now, Hillary is their gal.
They clearly don't want Trump anywhere near the White House.
This is one of the reasons why I'm voting for him.

There is room to contest this. Most Republicans have fallen in line behind Trump and FOX is no fan of Hillary. This election is a lot more "business as usual" than you think.
The claims up above are absurd and unhinged. They also stink of sore-loserdom. I'll even grant that the rules and moderator (to which both candidates agreed to in writing) favored Clinton, we were watching an NBC debate after all. The CNN debate is more of Clinton's turf and then the final (and therefore most important) FOX debate will show favoritism towards Trump. It is that last debate that you will most likely see Clinton grilled on Bengazi, emails, Iraq-vote, Libya, health, etc, not that the average voter gives a shit about far right fringe conspiracy theories.

Those aren't "far right fringe conspiracy theories", brah. All of those are legitimate concerns that have basis in reality.

They're clearly not. Not really sure why you'd argue otherwise. You're just mimicking a vacuous talking point akin to what the MSM is pushing.
