Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc. Pennsylvania, wood debris, Rotting Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
See pictures they are attached
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
See detailed photos, smooth,hollow,
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
See detailed picture convex, concave
Spore print color: Very important!
Purple-brown
They are dropping (see pictures)
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
See pictures stem was purple possibly due to spores falling
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Forest smell

Mmm....I don't think you have anything there. Not sure what it is....but it doesn't look like a Psilocybe to me.
Edit: The gills are really light for the age of the mushroom. They are attached which seems unusual for a Psilocybe. And the cortina or annulus seems to be huge. All of those things just lead me to say that it isn't anything special. But there does seem to be a purple print on the cap as if another mushroom of the same species was laid above it. It is definitely something to wait for a trusted Identifier for.

This is something I found growing on a tree limb scattered on the forest floor. I noticed the color and pulled it off. This was several hours ago and after a quick rinse.
