Habitat: About 3-4 week old newly sodded lawn. Very gregarious. About 60% came from same myc base.
Gills: Brown, attached, darker in between, some mottling, secondaries, light edges
Stem: 3-5 " x ~1/8 ", light tan/brn reddish, fibrous and fibrils/striations slightly twist, hollow, dense and mildly brittle, mottling near attachment to cap, oxidized bases, bruises darker
Cap: 1.5-2 ", tan, brn ring at margin, zonated, younger are bell shaped, mature are expanded concave,
Spore print color: Several were kind enough to black print on their neighbor. Printing them all. Black covering my fingers.
Bruising: Darker brn to charcoal
Other information: Mushroom smell, gardeney
Pretty beefy specimens. About 22 specimens, possibly double digit grams. Any concern here, or just really healthy?? Here is the porn......

What makes you think lacrymaria?
In comparison, Mushroom Expert did not show a match IMHO. Every web image (or at least first 80) did not compare.
Definitely no "hairs".

Panaeolus cinctulus don't even need prints with those perfect examples
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

The error makes sense, darkly dappled gills of a chunky Panaeolus and those of a Lacrymaria do have a similar look broadly confined to these genera. The caps of the latter are fluffy-adpressed and the gills are marked by dark teardrops.
