A New Coffee Promises To Give You An Erection — Here's What It Actually Does By Aly Walansky
Coffee is already known to have a bunch of valid health benefits, from protecting against heart disease to even promoting a healthy liver, but what if it helped with your sex life, too?
That’s the idea behind the Stiff Bull which launched an instant herbal coffee that promises to give you an erection with your morning cup. The FDA is having none of it, having recently released a warning about the coffee, advising customers not to purchase or buy the product because of a hidden ingredient not listed on the packaging. The discovery was made by the FDA during a routine examination of mail shipments, followed by a lab analysis, reports UPI.
And while there's no proof the ingredient will give you an erection, it could do you harm: “This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels,” the FDA warns in its advisory. Low blood pressure can cause dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, nausea, and worse.
It should be noted that Viagra has similar side effects including the risk of serious drop in blood pressure, chest pains, and the potential for heart attack and strokes — all very good reasons the drug requires a prescription from your doctor.
The warning about Stiff Bull is part of the FDA’s efforts to crack down on supposedly natural products that actually contain drugs to achieve the promised effects — something that's more common than you may think. This is the thirty-fourth product the FDA has warned against this year for having undeclared ingredients meant for improvement of sexual function.
The bottom line: We should all treat lofty health and sex claims we find on supplements the way we do marketing emails — as junk that's best ignored.

I like how with cannabis it won't give me an erection, but it'll make me horny as fuck (if I let my imagination run riot) and then I'll get a boner made with love.

Hrrm, Im curious about the bolded. The FDA is checking mail? Or exclusively the mail from supplement companies?
