I found some dirt cheap poly tubes. They are 6.5 inches flat. I am thinking they are too small for logs. What are your guys input.
4 inch Diameter roughly

or would I just be better off with just these?

i depends on how many bags you want to make? i made 9 inch diameter logs at 3.5 feet long. but you should measure your substrate weight to get an idea of your biological efficiency.

I've got a bunch of 7" diameter sometimes it seems small. Using mostly sawdust the bags get fairly heavy.

Seems a little small compared to what I have seen. SpeakSoftly and JanuaryWolf are running about 9-10" logs (correct me if I'm wrong) - but if it's cheap run a few and see if you get similar results.

Think I might just go with the free grocery bags. I have an unlimited supply of wood chips now. Not so much saw dust though. I am also getting a free 17 feet by 10 green house with a heater and swamp cooler. It is fibberglass so not the best but can't beat free. Also comes with some housing insulation.

Free is great mate! And it being insulated with a swamp cooler gives you some neat options like Kings, etc. would love to see it!
Also, taking a break from banging out wedges right now- should have yours out in the next couple days.

Me and my roommate dug out the beams today and around the greenhouse. We are getting a truck and a trailer to move it on Friday. You can see it has a PVC sprinkler system that I might look into making a fine mist and making hooking into a timer. You can see some insulation on the backwall just laying there. There is more that can't be seen. The swamp cooler is not located in the greenhouse. It is an entire house hold swamp cooler.

Bruh... That could be super dope. Where are you again? What's your temps like? A simple window unit could help you in the summer. And with a fan already built in! Mate, I'm jealous,

That fan is a heater unit. The swamp cooler would keep things cool but could dry things out with too much air flow.
Another thing that worries me is that heater fan. It could break down with a very high humidity (I haven't looked up the model yet. ) Also just about everything is coming with it.

What's your temps? May want to cut out the heater part and just use your fan.

Ohh you said 4" diameter and it threw me off. A 16" layflat should be like 10" dia.
