Mycolorado said: Hey Ted, not stupid at all. I used to grow nothing but rye jars in order to eat and share with my friends when I couldn't fruit them out due to living at my mom's house. I've seen 20 people tripping balls on a couple quart jars. I had a guy tell me that the jars were bullshit, so I let him eat 1/4 pint and was told the next day by his brother never to give him drugs again. None of this is exaggeration. Just didn't want you to risk losing your jars if that's all ya got. Also, top fruiting as mentioned above could prolly be done pretty incognito.
Thanks for not hating. Yeah I'm not really trying to grow mycelium just to eat it. Although now I am curious to knownif it works. Also, what's "top fruiting"? I guess I'll do some research on that.
no, colonized grains DO NOT have actives in them, its well known its been tested. top fruiting usually means just adding some cvg on top of a colonized jar instead of spawning it. its a good way to get something out of bacterial jars.

Thanks for that good feedback spacechildo
-------------------- Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, “What road do I take?” The cat asked, “Where do you want to go?” “I don’t know,” Alice answered. “Then,” said the cat, “it really doesn’t matter, does it?”

well try to find some evidence to back your claims then. I've seen the real studies, they're able to find small traces of actives in cakes/subs AFTER they've fruited. some claim to have found actives before fruiting too but the numbers are so small they cant be confirmed.
I've seen people claim they tripped of LBMs, doesnt make LBMs active it proves the power of suggestion is quite a hefty thing!

Morty: That, out there, that's my old avatar's grave. Mushboy: Wait, what? Morty: On one of our adventures, Rick and I basically destroyed the whole world, so we bailed on that avatar and I started to use this one, because with this one, the world wasn't destroyed and with the other one, we were dead. So we came here, a- a- and we buried the old avatar and this new one took its place. And every morning Mushboy- my new avatar eats breakfast twenty yards away from the old avatars rotting corpse. Mushboy: So you're not the real Morty? Morty: I'm better than Morty. I'm a version of Morty you can trust when he says "Don't run." Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody's gonna die. Come watch TV.

I was simply trying to give Ted some advice so he didn't lose his cakes to bad weather. I'll stop posting on this now and let you guys suck each other off and maybe some vets with actual experience will chime in and confirm what I've been stating here.

Thats cool and all but did you read how he never even ate mushrooms before?? Any way there may be small traces but you arent getting high off eating grain or cakes ita not like the trimmings on bud that you can make hash oils butter and shit like that best thing for op is to get a small tub and make a fruiting chamber get mushrooms and eat those not bury them outside eat the cakes use them as a fifi or tgrow at someone

That Mycotopia thread was cringe-city at best.
No 'vet' is going to come in here and tell us to start eating grain jars.

dude, come on. first one is a link to google search, not a scientific paper in any way. 2nd link is to mycotopia thats as far from scientific as it gets, 3rd is a debunked myth from 1976.
are you even reading the stuff you're linking?
use the shroomery search engine if you want to see this BS argument get shot down over and over again. you're not the first one to claim it.
