Habitat: Found these growing in a meadow (among short grass and clover) near the ocean in Newfoundland.
Gills: medium grey to dark grey, purplish cast, attached.
Stem: ~2" long, firm, white/light brown, solid, thin
Cap: 1/4" to 3/8" diameter cap, color is white with darkening near bottom of cap, waxy texture, firm, conical/bell shape, vertical stripes, bell wraps around bottom and does not flair out.
Spore print color: Waiting for results on this part.
Bruising: Bluish.
Are they liberty caps?

Thanks so much for the quick replies. Since I said I was going to post a spore print, here it is.

Is anyone able to identify either of these little guys?
They were both found in an unfertilised field in the South of England. Right time of year, right weather for liberty caps.
The one on the left has dark brown gills and light brown on top, and gave a dark brown spore print. The right one much more yellow by comparison- both the gills and the top.
The mushroom on the right has a strong earthy smell (up close), the other has very little smell.
Stems on both are thin and quite straight and both are 5.5cm long
Are they liberty caps?
