Using a fruiting chamber for a growing kit

Hi everyone!
I'm growing some Treasure Coast using a growing kit, one of those with a plastic bag containing a box with the substrate inside.
I'm having the first flush and I notice that most of the shrooms are growing from the sides, in the little space between the substrate and the walls of the box.
When this flush will be over, I was thinking of taking the substrate out of the box and putting it inside a pf-tek fruiting chamber (a big plastic box with perlite inside), so the shrooms that will grow from the sides will have plenty of space to grow.
Do you think it's a good idea?

leave the sub in the box, but put the box in a sgfc (pf-tek chamber). those plastic bags are awful. make sure your sub surface is glistening with moisture. mist if it doesnt.

Thanks for your reply! Why should I keep the substrate inside the box? If I take it out and just put it in the f.chamber without thebox, wouldnt there be more room for the shrooms to grow from the sides? Is it for the risk of contamination?

there would also be more moisture lost from the sub if you take it out, a sgfc has great FAE and you probably wont be able to keep up with misting or watering. even tho you'll have a larger surface for pinning you wont get more mushrooms. if you look at the bottle tek it has very low pinning surface but greater return than a spawned monotub.

A SGFC will do you much better! Just make sure to give it a good dunk 12-24 hours before moving to the SGFC. I'd prolly leave the sub in the tray, if you pull it out you may have a problem with it drying out. That said, I've taken a tray after its first flush, dunked and covered with verm, stuck it in a SGFC on a wire rack and misted the shit out of it, got a decent amount of mush on all sides.

Thanks to everyone! I've made a SGFC and put the growbox inside it like you suggested.
