There shouldn't be anything to stop you from using the same lids you used before.  Do you not have lids with filters on them?

turn the lids upside down. no modifications. leave them loose so the lid can wiggle a little.

there are other ways to do lids, but this is how I do mine.

No offense man but you need to read a little more.  No one here is gonna spoon feed you info as simple as a jar lid.  On the other hand, my journal has a brief intro on the different types of lids you can use.  It'll give you an idea.
You still need to read some more, or at least understand the basics of what you're doing (or going to do by the sound of it)

Put the wedge in the jar and put a lid on. It's easier than it sounds. We see these questions 100 times a week. Answer the same thing over and over for people too lazy to do a 5 second search and you might find your responses a little wry as well.

These questions are easily answered by a good search.

Make sure to use the search functions correctly. Filter out responses from 2-3 years ago and I like to also use the "Trusted Cultivator" checkbox...

Using those specific functions makes your searches 100 times better.

Any cult post over 3-10 years old (depending on subject matter) should be taken with a grain of salt.
There has been an unprecedented amount of advancement in our trade in the past decade...

Searching and following 12 year old posts could be detrimental to your grow's yield...

(Mycologists on this forum had absolutely no clue what was going on back then...if you spend some time browsing old posts you'll know what I mean.)

Don't take these peoples comments as a personal attack.

If we didn't care we would have ignored your post...

It's hard to remember what it felt like to be new. Grain jar lids are one thing knowing what to do is a whole another thing. I try to put myself back in those shoes all the time and i still come off as a huge dick  at the end of the day there's a lot of good people here who will help you do better with your efforts. We may have "egos" but if yours gets in the way it only hurts yourself

Helpful hint search posts with images. And only one result per thread. Play with the tools in the advanced search engine

Yeah, forgot about the 'show results with images only' option. I use it often, it's good when looking up questions about contamination and when looking for a tek I found once but didn't bookmark, etc...

Damn man, I was in no way being rude.  I even said no offense?
I was simply implying that, based on your op, you apparently have some critical gaps in your cultivation knowledge and this will make it hard for you to be successful.
