Hello friends...
I have a common house plant and its one of now many in my home
The problem is I dont know what this one is called. I bought it because I noticed it in public places where there was like no light. My windows and spaces with good light are full unfortunately. Anyway...wtf is this...Id like to research its needs and take good care of it.

Thanks
Edit: Ive done a few searches trying to find out. I know this plant is pretty common and some of you are laughing but I just dont know. I moved it recently and its not doing well. Id like to see my options with this plant.

As to why it's not doing well, I can't really see the size of the pot but it's a good sized plant, maybe you need to transplant it to something a bit bigger?
Anyway now you know what it is I'm sure you'll figure it all out.

Thank you everyone. I just brought it to a room with very little light to see how it does. I want plants in all rooms ya know...Well it just started to turn very dark green and seems lacking. Im just the kind of person who googles all my plants for that extra knowledge I love them all.
I was going to contribute to the coleus thread but its been over watered and drooping right now. That thread inspired me to buy coleus seeds and I have many sprouts.
Maybe one day Ill make a thread to display all my house plants. I have quite a collection.

I know what you mean it's addictive
I'd be interested in such a thread.

Keep it in a room with a window, but away from the window. They only need indirect light. Don't water often. They like heavy watering, with a long period in between to totally dry out. When I was doing interior landscaping I would water my schefflera about once a month.

I too would be interested in a house plant thread. I love the energy they give off in a room. I couldn't imagine living anywhere without indoor plants.

I don´t have one of these plants, but my book on house plants says Schefflera needs 3 hours sun a day when actively growing, and should be kept fairly moist. For what it´s worth.

The more light it gets, the more water it needs; but they're utilized in dark office spaces for their knack to do just fine in low lighting, where most would etiolate.

thizzle has it in low light and it is not doing well. Maybe he should give it a bit more light as my text advises and see if it helps.
