Excited But Not Really... They're Too White for Gyms?

Habitat:
Northwest NJ in wooded forest growing out of Oak stump that has been there a long time. These were in the "shade" of the hollowed out inside, nothing but shelfy turkey tail types growing on the sunlight exposed outside. There were about 15 or so of these from a foot to four feet off the ground on the inside of wall of said stump. Just started getting some rain and humidity after a long dry lateAug/earlySep.
Gills:
White, and this is the first time I'm using these big words, but I'd say "Adnexed". They cleanly come to just the very top of the stalk where I cut the cap from it. If I was wrong on Adnexed please help right my course so I can learn...
Stem:
20-40 cm avg. on those I found. White, fibrous with a slight hollow pinhole throughout.
Cap: 30-40 cm avg., white and convex - both cap and stalk seemed to "bruise" to translucent where touched. No bluing after an hour+ of being felt up.
Spore print color: Printing now. After an hour all I have is moisture marks on white paper.
Bruising: Just that translucent "bruising" as mentioned above.
Smells like sperm...
The way these were growing with the definitive "hook" of so many gyms pictured on here had me thinking, but they are all white? Are they a non-active in the family or juveniles?

The habit looked a bit Hysizygus-y but RD's ID is because it looks so translucent, and may well be. So is the translucence something you observe without bruising and were the caps thin and slimy? Or does it just look like that in the photos? If the former then what she said.

per above... the caps were thicker and less translucent than the pictures of Oudemansiella I googled after RD1 posted.
they only appeared translucent in areas where touched, as if, touching the cap left an oil stain from one's fingertips. these were rather thick and crunchy too and not as fragile as other pics of referenced Oudemansiella species... otherwise solid and white.
Not really slimy at all, as mentioned a print did show the next day of thick white spores so the print should rule some out.
can't say I agree or disagree with RD1, as I'm too new and novice to this but wanted to play this out to vet it out, thanks guys and gals, esp. RD1 (now go check my psyathrella's from the other day cause I have an update on those, )
thanks TC
