Storing / drying magic truffles

Hello,
I am expecting a yield of around 80 grams of magic truffles from my grow kit. I have researched a bit about how to store them for a longer time and I see that there are two ways: drying or making a tea and freezing it. I am more interested in drying and have some questions about it.
Can I just leave the truffles for a while on a paper somewhere in my room and expect them to dry over some time? Should I use some kind of a fan to fasten the process? How long should the process take?
Also, overall, is drying a good idea? Are there any drawbacks / dangers that could destroy / decrease the potency of the truffles?
I'd like to hear some of you personal experiences and tips.
Cheers!

I would advise against drying stones, personally consuming dried stones, even when rehydrated in tea is gross.
I would try to harvest as needed. Clean and dry the stones and store in the refrigerator in a paper bag, they will last months this way (fresh).
If you're set on drying them, search a few thrift stores and you'll find a dehydrator for $5, that's really the only great way to dry the stones. At least 24 hours drying at 160*F

I am not particularly set on drying them, my point is to keep them edible and potent for a few months, as it will take some time to consume them all.
As far as I have read, they can stay fresh in the fridge for only 3 days. Are you sure that keeping them in paper bags would change anything?

Yes I am sure. Ive kept fresh sclerotia in the fridge in a paper bag for many months. No harm.
Them lasting only three days is a lie, I'd bet my life they last at least 3-6 months

Sounds cool, I will give it a try. Have you been changing the bags from time to time or just let them stay in the same one all the time?
