Is this mold or mycelium?

I started two half pint jars of Brazil cubensis 6 days ago and they are already showing signs of what looks like mycelium, but im not sure if it is actually mycelium. Plus i accidentally burnt my the cakes in the pressure cooker so those brown spots are just burnt brf/verm on the walls of the jar. Your help is so very much appreciated!

They both look slimy and bacterial on the bottom pics. Take a closer in focus picture so we can get a better look.

Not following the instructions. Foil comes off after sterilization so the verm layer can dry. Becoming a dry verm layer that is your filter. A wet verm barrier only encourages contamination

I have them in a tit incubator in my closet no light. Im actually going today to pick up some things for a fruiting chamber. Im a little worried about which fruiting chamber to use cause my house is pretty dirty. I was thinking of making both a shotgun fruiting chamber and a pmp, and trying them both to see what would work best. What would you recommend?

Get that cake on a piece of tinfoil. Your pin is growing down into the perlite where better more humid conditions are. There's no verm on the cake either and it looks dry.

To be completely honest im not too worried about making these cakes "perfect" plus i know that there is WAAAY too much water in the bottom of the green fruiting chamber. i have 4 others colonizing rn.plus this is my first grow and these are bacterial contaminated. Its just kinda fun to see where they are going to go. Anyway would it be safe to eat the fruits? I read quite a bit on that topic and it seems a bit touchy lol. Here is some updated photos.

They are fine to eat, just try not to bite into a big chunk of perlite that your shroom grew around. It doesn't matter if they are bacterial, most cakes are. If you made your new batch with a multispore syringe, they will be bacterial as well.

No matter what your end goal is you should really listen to these guys and get those cakes off the perlite and on some foil ASAP.. Why go this far just to get lax now?
