Common Core is not really a key issue for me, personally, hence I'm not well-researched in all the legislative logistics of it. Still doesn't tip the needle, though. Trump espouses feelings and concerns that relate more closely with my own when it comes to decentralizing and localizing these sorts of decisions and powers. Hillary does not. There's a lot at play here. I'm more interested in looking at the big picture than playing frivolous "gotcha" games with you over the details of common core and whether or not Federal Executive Powers can unilaterally move against it or not.

Yea I'm with you on that. Trump is an apparent challenge to the establishment that's sponsoring Hilary Clinton. The only thing I don't like about Trump is when he goes on about how Iran is our biggest threat and Israel is our biggest ally, and how we need to beef up the military.

It will be interesting to see how Hillary handles standing for an uninterrupted 90 minutes. I think she's more likely to blow her stack that Trump and start yelling as she's done in the past, but her teams major concerns probably involves her having another coughing fit. It will likely turn into a Lester vs Donald more than a Trump vs Clinton, and after seeing Matt Lauer catch shit for his commander in chief forum moderation, Lester is under the gun. Trump needs to keep his cool if Lester's bias gets out of hand because the audience may not remember a thing they've said, but never forget the way they made them feel. Maya Angelou?
EDIT: I can only imagine the cocktail of medication she's going to be on. She can't stand for 90 minutes all loaded up on benzos, so there needs to be a counteractive drug added to the mix that keeps her legs and brain alive for this marathon debate. Can't wait to see her eyes.

Well that's the thing, Obama has set precedent for unilateral presidential power, libs cheered, but when a GOP pres gets into office they are gonna regret supporting such rubbish, or not, they'll prolly forget about it like they do everything else, the democrat party is truly the party of "forget the BS we pulled, the GOP is bad"
Amd yeah, Hillary is gonna be hopped on all sorts of shit,

What they mean by 'lies' is any facts pointing out Hillary's past failures or crimes.
Before debate, Clinton works refs, asks for special treatment
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/article/2602810
Quote:
For several days, Democrats and their supporters in the press have demanded that presidential debate moderator Lester Holt factcheck Donald Trump in Monday night's showdown at Hofstra University. Those demands turned to pleading Sunday when Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, Robby Mook, appearing on ABC's "This Week," asked for special treatment for Clinton in the event that Trump tells lies from the debate stage.
"All that we're asking is that, if Donald Trump lies, that it's pointed out," Mook said. "It's unfair to ask for Hillary both to play traffic cop while with Trump, make sure that his lies are corrected, and also to present her vision for what she wants to do for the American people."
"But isn't that what a debater is supposed to do?" asked host George Stephanopoulos.
"Well, I think Donald Trump's special," Mook said. "We haven't seen anything like this…So we're saying this is a special circumstance, a special debate, and Hillary should be given some time to actually talk about what she wants to do to make a difference in people's lives. She shouldn't have to spend the whole debate correcting the record."
Other Clinton officials made a similar case in the days leading up to the debate. On Friday, Team Clinton held a conference call for reporters, urging Holt to factcheck Trump on the fly. "This is the role of the moderator…to call out those lies, and do it in real time," top campaign official Jennifer Palmieri said. "To not do that is to give Donald Trump a very unfair advantage. "

Yeah, hopefully the mods don't push the debate to her, that's what they did with Romney and it was blatantly obvious
Of course, if it's anything like the GOP debate, they'll be actively working against Trump as well, the cards will be stacked against him, luckily most Americans are seeing through the lies and supporting trump anyway, Clinton won't have a "one sided media" carrying her water after the debate.

Voters See Debate Moderators Giving Clinton A Helping Hand
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2016/voters_see_debate_moderators_giving_clinton_a_helping_hand
Quote:
Voters are pretty convinced the moderators at the presidential debates scheduled to begin tonight will be helping Hillary Clinton more than Donald Trump.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that a plurality (46%) of Likely U.S. Voters believes most moderators will try to help Clinton in the upcoming debates. Only six percent (6%) think they will try to help Trump instead. Just 32% say most of the moderators will try to be unbiased, while 15% are undecided.

I believe that this debate will get more ratings than the Superbowl.
This election is the ultimate reality show. The fate of the world is literally on the line here. It's insane.

IDK about the super bowl, but this is the best storyline anyone could ever spin. I was about to say, 'You couldn't write this', but then I think, 'Yea, you definitely could'. Dude's name is Anthony Weiner for Christ sake. The headlines were reading "Huma cuts off Weiner". This shit is too much.

none. it was a legitimate question trying to discern your comment. what kinds of 'punches' do you anticipate Trump 'pulling?'
Trump's been talking for months; months and months. He's said little to nothing. Just like Hillary. Why is this forum going to prove any different for either?
He has said plenty, please tell me the last time a politician discussed our shitty trade agreements?
Bernie.
Oh right! I forgot. You're bound by blood oath to never support a liberal, despite him being the omly honest, geniune, and honorable presidential candidate since god knows when.
