I'll try not to be long winded, but this experience has stuck with me for months now and I'd like to read if anyone else has had anything similar happen. Forgive the wall of text, but I'd like to outline the whole experience, so as to portray the event as accurately as I can without writing a novel.
I was visiting in a European nation this spring, in a small town I very much like. One beautiful sunny morning, I did 30g of Hollandia and strapped in for the usual ride. This was my 5th trip.
An hour into it, a telepathic "voice" was clearly perceivable, and I decided to listen to what the truffle has to say. As McKenna suggested, I take everything the shrooms/truffles have to say with a grain of salt, but I am an avid listener.
As mentioned, I was in a very pleasant small town. The place was full of enchanted looking forests and sun bathed fields. A really idyllic place where I felt as comfortable as ever. Even the people who live there were always cool. There was nothing negative, paranoid, or depressing about my setting.
About 15 minutes from my apartment, there was a very large grassy field, kind of like the wheat field in the movie Gladiator. I always wanted to trip there, but never had the courage to leave the apartment after a major dose. This morning, the truffle firmly suggested I make the journey to the field, and because the weather was perfect sunny and warm, I did.

The field had fairly tall grass, enough that if I laid down in it, I would be completely submerged. Nevertheless, the truffle firmly suggested I walk off the path, and lay in it. This was fairly uncomfortable since it was somewhat spiky, but out of sheer curiosity, I did it anyway. The "voice" was very straight forward. Not demanding, but more like a seasoned professor would address a young student he neither liked nor disliked. I'm already in my 30's, but there was definitely a feeling of being lectured by an elder.
Because I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, I was fairly uncomfortable, but I laid there for 3-5 minutes anyway. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining in a cloudless sky, and everything was otherwise ok, but then bugs started showing up. I don't mean hallucenogenic bugs, but actual inhabitants of the field. None of them were dangerous, but as you can imagine, being in a tall sunny field, there were many of them. Small spiders, various flies, and whatever else crawls in such a habitat. After swatting 5-10 of them off of me, I realized this is a battle I couldn't possibly win. There were simply far too many of them. This is where it got weird, and this is why this experience stuck with me.
The voice clearly stated "no, remain laying in the field." I responded (in my head) "I would, but there are far too many bugs in there" Instantly the answer came, "Yes, as there should be." I argued, "I don't want them crawling all over me. I'm not afraid or grossed out of bugs, I just don't want to be completely covered in them and have them crawling into my ears/nose, etc." Another instant response, "They are supposed to." Me: That is simply too uncomfortable for me.
Voice: "Then you don't get it. "
That last part was said in an almost annoyed and bored way, like someone was trying to explain something to me and I was simply too stupid to understand a basic truth.
I got up and walked out of the grass, back onto the path. The sun was still shining, birds were still chirping, but the voice was gone. I still had a good 2-3 hours left on the trip, and enjoyed every minute of it, but the experience with the voice is what stuck with me the most. No other voice(s) came after it.
I didn't just perceive the voice, but an attitude as well. It was very straightforward when implying I go to the field. Very straight forward when implying I lay down, and definitely very straight forward when it implied I let the bugs crawl over and into me. Once I disagreed and got up, the voice was gone. Its last line "Then you don't get it" was uttered with a clear hint of contempt, like the message was crystal clear, and it is only my failing to understand that held us/me back.
Anyone with similar experiences or related feedback?
Thanks for reading.
