Too much idle time is the brains worst nightmare It starts to self combust We were meant to be hunter gatherers. Now we shop and sit and mope. No one has told the brain it doesn't have to worry about survival anymore, it's working overtime.
Too much comfort and sloth is just as detrimental to mental health as too much stress

odds of what?
opiates are relatively benign although long term use does lead to lower testosterone levels. From the extensive research ive done(though i'll admit it was a while ago and i may be mistake/there may have been new discoveries), that is the only negative side effect.
it is a pretty significant problem though, especially for men but it only happens to long term users who abuse opiates alot.
other than that they are one of the least harmful drugs out there. (inb4 people cite damage caused by method of use and other factors like adulterants)

We are exposed to a lot of chemicals and potentially toxic materials. That isn't because "they" are trying to pacify the population. If they wanted to pacify is, they wouldn't have put lead in gasoljne for decades, which has been identified as a major factor in the rise of violent crime in the second half of the 20th century. They put lead in gasoline because it was a very cheap way to increase performance. Companies will use cheap, toxic solutions to problems over expensive, but safe ones all the time.

You're completely delusional. People on this site are dropping like flies and it's not from LSD, mushrooms or meth.

I'm not exactly implying that there are sinister motives, though i still entertain the possibility.
it is undeniable though that "they" put flouride in our water supply. And they probably have good intentions when doing so. i just think they shouldn't put anything in the water supply and that people should have a choice.
You know they used to have these dioxins(from plastics) in baby diapers and other products until a bunch of mothers rose up in protest. The thing is most of them didn't even know these plastics could harm you, most people don't.
thanks to activists like the lady who wrote that book i posted, there has been more awareness and thus more action taken to keep us safe.
ANd again, the companies making those baby products probably meant no harm but they should still have taken more precautions since we've known, scientists at least, that there are dioxins in the plastic and that it is harmful to us.

From overdose i assume.
that doesn't change anything. Try to look at it without bias, and without judging by the source of these claims. Obviously, as a user, i come off as a defender/advocate of heroin but that's really not the case.
opiates in non-lethal doses are relatively benign. It's just a fact.
Too much of anything can kill you, even water.
Obviously addiction leads to a bunch of problems and behavioral disorders but that still doesn't mean that opiates are harmful to your body. At least not as harmful as most would believe and when compared to other drugs they are, as i've said, mostly benign.

I dunno about bottled water being contaminated with xenestrogens, unless you keep your water in direct sunlight or on a microwave then I assume your mostly ok. There are a large amounts of toxins all over and in everything. Your liver filters most of that stuff out.

I know, I'm just biased by the fact that opiates kill so many more people than other popular drugs. If you ignore all the deaths, you are correct that opiates are really safe.

They might not do physical damage but emotionally and mentally short term they aren't benign.

Haven't read this whole thread, however today I woke up feeling pretty good, after a long low low . Tonight I'm going to drop acid and it just seems like it's gonna be fun like what usually carries on for a few weeks . Then it's back to soul crushing depression .

Heroin is cut with questionable stuff so heroin definitely isn't safe or non-toxic IMO.
Try to stop using powdery street drugs all together.
The next time you go food shopping, buy bags of mixed organic greens and add it raw to what you eat for every meal. (organic is typically better than non-organic even though we all know there are pesticides used on organic shit). Its actually hella tasty like that and not a chore to do.
Eat a couple bananas and sunflower seeds or nuts, every day, helps keep the magnesium and other metal levels good
Vitamin C is important for brain health, drink a lil bit of orange juice every day, i mix it into my water cause i like to think im good at regulating sugar intake. I dont think its good to take straight sugar to the dome too often, which is what happens when you chug orange or other fruit juices. Fruit juices and sugary fruits can be almost equally as bad as eating straight refined sugar IMO. It hits your pancreas.
I drink Reverse Osmosis water, not always accessible, but if there's a food co-op near you they usually have a pure water dispenser. I fill up glass wine jugs that last me several days.
I eat and drink like this, smoke weed every day, no cigarettes, about 1 cups of red wine a day cause I'm fancy.
I feel pretty good, never any mental fog, good energy levels, never irritable.
