You slandered people that disagreed with your radical policy ideas, you see when you call people racist, sexist, xenophobic and bigots for no valid reason other than speculation, you create a very strong counter movement.
I know it's fun to use those labels when other people don't see the world like you do, but those actions come with major consequences. Hillary called half of US citizens "deplorable", that action had major consequences.
what radical policy ideas? Accepting refugees?? Is that really radical??
If you read any of my posts you will see that I have been criticising people for blasting all Trump supporters as racists, nazis etc. because its not as simple as that.
If you read any of my posts you would see that I've said that dismissing and belittling people who have legitimate concerns as nothing but racists causes a backlash and is short-sighted and destructive. I dont find concerns based on racism to be legitimate concerns as they are based in ignorance, prejudice and hate. That doesn't mean that concerns over immigration are all racist and illegitimate.
i'm actually kinda surprised you aren't embracing my recognition that there are legitimate grievances being voiced. Perhaps you are sad i'm not recognising racism as legitimate........
PS: i'm not Hilary Clinton. calling people deplorable is different from correctly identifying racist reasoning. I agree "racist" is used too easily when it doesn't actually apply and it unfairly shuts down discussion. Many white people dont even understand what racism means. When I use it for you, it is used correctly.

"I agree "racist" is used too easily"
So we're in agreement, too bad the MSM and other liberals don't feel the same way.

That's the Tip I know.

So, in all seriousness, I'd like to point out that I predicted the election more accurately than anyone on the Shroomery.

Now we just get to see if Trump really backs up this change talk or if he falls in line behind the establishment like Obama did.

That could go either way in terms of good or bad, as well.

If he doesn't keep his word like Obama, it's a real possibility.
But generally I'd agree... I see a civil war between the government and the people, personally.
Have a FEMA camp right up the road and know folks who live near the entrance, a year or so back they saw truck after truck of "rubber dead bodies" and "stacked plastic coffins" being moved in for a few days on end.

let me rephrase that.
unless trumpty-dumpty does something to trigger a military coup (like ordering a nuclear strike) i don't see a civil war happening.

While I'd definitely agree with that for the most part; there are a lot of types of people being affected here.
A lot of minorities are good shots...
Just saying.
This goes beyond just the American people...people I know in other countries are alarmed.
This will be interesting, to say the least.

I can't believe Americans still think their vote actually enters a system that determines the outcome of the election fairly.
Shit like this makes me ashamed to be American, not that I had any choice in the matter.

tons of first time voters in the mid 20's to late 30's in my precinct (which has broken to R candidates 96%, 93%, and most recently 92% in the last three presidential elections). even though i don't agree with their positions, i hope they stay involved and don't revert to their complaining while not participating status.

the stacked plastic coffins and all that jazz were debunked years ago. at least one former FEMA camp was bought by a company that sells grave liners (use is required in places with high water tables) and that's what your nearby folks saw, not plastic coffins.

Most white males I know are more concerned with behavior than skin color. That reality get's spun into all kinds of nasty words. Having a problem with a majority of Muslims wanting Sharia law translates into religious intolerance. Avoiding the black scene translates into racism, never mind that fact that the same people will also avoid hanging out with racist rednecks.
But none of that matters because people need something to hate. There are examples of groups who have very close genetics and common religious ground and they will still find a way to murder each other.

Thanks for the info; still doesn't explain the rubber bodies though...
Was told it just looked like stacked corpses, only they were all black (not african american, like jet black, naturally speculated they were some kind of plastic or rubber)
Target practice maybe... they do a lot of military training there.. what struck me as odd is that they were "seeming to try to hide them on the way in" and were not using typical transports like on an ordinary day. That, and coffins will send the wrong message, clearly.

Yes we agree that people use all kinds of labels unfairly - this applies to all sides. If I say I support the acceptance of refugees, i'm labelled a whole bunch of stuff unfairly.
this might just blow your mind but liberals are ..not a monolithic group .....but if you haven't got that already then I won't hold my breath.
Conservatives are not a monolithic group Democrats are not a monolithic group Muslims are not a monolithic group "third worlders" are not a monolithic group Trump supporters are not a monolithic group Americans are not a monolithic group
