Weak rhizo on agar?

So I have been attempting to isolate. This culture had very unison growth. The only problem is, it's basically transparent. I ended up making a less-nutritious agar in hopes that it will strengthen, but I have my doubts. I pulled from the fastest, most healthiest looking rhizo area a couple times and I find it strange that I ended up with this as a result. I find it even weirder that the mycelium is crawling up the pasty plate wall considering how weak it was. At first I was classifying it as tomentose, but I just don't think that is the case. I've watched this grow in a perfect circle the entire time. No areas growing any faster than the other which leads me to believe that I do indeed have a monoculture, but is just weak? Let me know what your guys' thoughts are please.

Rhizo don't mean shit. Test it and see what it does.

only benefit of rhizomorhic myc imo is that it's a bit easier to find and xfer sectors, if you want more stable genetics keep making xfers, but like bod said you could fruit that right now. If you do that take some tissue of the best fruit and clone it. You'll get way better/quicker results that way.

I always clone. My question is, I have never had such weak looking agar. It's almost transparent. As for as fruiting right now, I have no grains prepped right now and it's just that one agar dish. I typically make 8-10 plates and then tiger drop them to grains, but it's just this one. Idk how I feel about doing a grain prep for one jar to tiger drop this lol. Any other suggestions as to how I can fruit it right now? Aside from waiting for invitro?

Why don't you make a li out of it and prep more than one jar to inoculate? If you wait for invitro you might be waiting for a while, plus there is no guarantee it will fruit anyway. Even if it did, it wouldn't fruit enough to do anything for you.
One agar dish, huh. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket.

Well I have the master still. I had another one, but it contamed. This time I did 2 transfers to agar, and one to honey water. As soon as the LC is good to go, I'll start noc'ing. I didn't want to do a bunch of transfers each time, rather get an isolate, and then make a bunch of transfers. I would love to make an LI but I am just now diving into it so I didn't want to sacrifice a whole dish of agar to make it in case it didn't go as planned. Do you have a TEK that you typically use for your LI?
