How can I make my trips more memorable and healing?

I've tripped close to ten times now at varying doses, all p. cubensis typically around 2-3g and never higher than 4g. During all of my trips I have been completely alone, and I've done them in 3 distinct set and settings. A common problem I feel is that my trips end up seeming like a wasted opportunity. I do think most of the healing can occur after the trip itself, not necessarily during. However, during my trips I tend to become physically uncomfortable, heart palpitations, nausea, bloating, dizziness, and I'll end up ruminating for long periods of time about completely trivial matters.
I have had a couple trips where I had some profound insights and jaw dropping CEV's, but most of my trips were simply harrowing and uncomfortable. I do pay attention to set and setting and I try to meditate and calm my mind before my dose, but I think my problem is that I always trip alone and do not want to be around others. It's hard to keep myself from getting distracted.
Anyway, to get to my main question - how do you create the best possible conditions for a beneficial/healing trip? Especially if you can't handle being around others? I have tripped in the woods at moderate doses, driving around in my car at low doses, and in my bedroom in silent darkness at high doses, and my best trips have been in my room. But there is something calming about being outside - the only problem is that I will worry about running into other people, which is why I always trip alone.

Trip with close friends , my insight of the trips came always with my best friends smoking some bowls afterwards thinking about life and about our existence.
Meditating on shrooms makes it harder for me because i have then so many thoughts coming up and i prefer not doing them solo.

My friends don't even smoke weed, in fact they're completely uninterested in it. I can barely handle being high around them, so if I was on mushrooms while they were completely sober I'd probably be even less comfortable.
Speaking of weed though, I do think I ought to try smoking it during a trip. I would expect it to help a lot with the nausea and preventing my thoughts from stagnating in loops.

You're missing the point. What is your goal and how do you best attain it? You're putting too much attention on one thing and forgetting the other. That's what it sounds like to me, you're trying to force something meaningful. Things that are meaningful to us in that way are so because they catch us off guard. You need to relax, and have fun. When you integrate tripping in to your life, rather than having it be a one-off type of experience, is that you must understand that these experiences are not drug experiences, but magnifications of your life at given points in time. Things will ebb and flow, you have that take what you can and enjoy it while you can. I've tripped a lot dude, and tripping means a lot to me.. believe me when I say the best thing you can do is just try to enjoy yourself above all else, meaning that even what's being percieved as negative can be set aside if you choose it to be. Do whatever makes you happy. Some recommendations out there say you should be locked away in the silent darkness of your room sitting lotus, but if you're most comfortable floating down a river in a nice boat puffing on some weed and watching the clouds roll on, then that's probably the best place to be.

I'm not necessarily trying to force meaning or insights, rather I'm trying to optimize the conditions of the trip to make sure I get the most out of it.
Generally speaking, unless I take a low dose it's hard for me to enjoy anything in my trip because my thoughts become very loud. Often times it is difficult just to sit and listen to music. So it seems like a natural solution is learn how to navigate the trip and be in the ideal mindset to get the most out of it. Maybe I am viewing it wrong, but I've never enjoyed my trips and I've never treated them as a recreational thing.
Ayahuasca and ibogaine trips, for instance, are known to be very distressing, but it doesn't mean they aren't psychologically healing. I apply the same thing to my mushroom trips, for whatever reason I don't seem to get any enjoyment out of them. So instead of trying to have a "fun trip" I'm viewing them like a medicine and being fully prepared for any unpleasantness. But in order to get the most out of my trips, I at least want the experience to be insightful. Instead it tends to be paralyzing and intoxicating.

You need to be tripping to have a good time, and the meaningful thoughts will appear. For instance, my most meaningful trip was spent listening to Hop Along while playing at a big wooden park at 2am, the same wooden park that my mom used to take me to when I was like 3 years old.
