Even after years of Kratom use I can't raise my dose above one heaping teaspoon or I get nauseous and puke
Even a heaping tsp is iffy so I stick to one level teaspoon at a time
The low cieling on Kratom is one of the reasons it's so much less harmful of a habit IMO.
My habit not is actually less then when I started years ago, which is obviously the opposite of other opiate habits

i do far less heroin than i used to.
shits expensive man.
there was a time in my teenaged years when i shot over 30 dialudid 8s in a twelve hour period.
now im lucky if i score 3 times a week.
That's crazy that u can dose kratom so low though. ive tried low doses with no success.

Yeah I agree with you fellow moon man about the saving grace of krat being its effective ceiling, but I take a heaping tablespoon and get nothing out of it other than a little energy and not feeling sick. I have been at the point where kratom will not touch me at all due to opiate tolerance and I still get that effect where if I take too much I get sick. This makes me think it is not the opiate-like qualities that cause the cieling, it's something else. Or maybe it is too much kappa and not enough mu or something of that nature.

Good evening everyone. Just got home from work & am drinking a smoothie. Back is pretty sore. No spasms though, still on the mend. I want to see the eagles game, but I don't feel like going out. I'm going to cook a dish with lamb, eggplant, zuchinni, squash, onion, tomatoes. Spice it up with curry, turmeric, cumin, paprika, garlic, sea salt, ginger & top with crumbled feta. Dinner is gonna be dank!

Yeah as some who is trying to get past my opiate addiction it is great, but as someone who likes to feel my drugs it is pretty weak. It's more like medicine I take every day than something I fiend for or do when I'm bored.

ive got some killer nods of kratom before though...maybe that stuff was laced. i read that some places were putting opiates in their stuff.
or maybe i just got a strong batch but i haven't been able to replicate the experience since.
i didn't pay too much so it's not a big deal.

I had an extensive history with opiates, and Krat makes me feel great. Tolerance builds if I take it every day though, and then it'll be much more subtle.

Same, i mainly use heroin and still find kratom to be enjoyable.
Don't know whats up with today but i have had doses take as long as 3 hours to kick in before...

It's been years since I used heroin or painkillers. So there's that too. Speaking of Krat, the smoothie is kicking in. This has been a godsend with that back injury. Saved me a trip to the ED. Need to do my exercises here in a bit, then get started on dinner.

I mean if you honestly got "killer nods" as in falling asleep standing up in public then I would say yeah it was laced, or you had no tolerance to speak of. I just have such a hard time believing someone would put a highly marketable opioid in a drug that is pretty unpopular even among the relatively few people who know about it.
I was trying to tell my friends about kratom last night and saying I would give them some if the needed help getting through withdrawals, and my best friend told me straight up "dude nobody cares". He thinks it's gross, and it is, but withdrawals are grosser in my opinion. The did tell me about a little bodega that sells it, which I assume is overpriced, along with no2 crackers, which I'm not a huge fan of but might be fun sometime.

yea im gonna try to quit. for real this time. i'm not really even that bad so there is no point in continuing to use and end up actually being in too deep to get out relatively easily.
i can tell my w.d. is going to be minimal and i have gabapentin so that is a huge help.
My anxiety levels have been increasing greatly though and i don't think it's the opiate addiction because i never had that before.
maybe rebound anxiety from the gabapentin? whatever it is, i don't like it.
@moonrock yea it was full blown op8 intoxication, heavy eyelids and all.

I just gulp it down stirred in a glass of water and chase it with coffee or almond milk. I still gag most times towards the end but it isn't that bad compared to going through a day sick.

Man you need to add a bunch of things. Just Krat & yogurt? Gross dude. I use 3-5 different fruits, raw cacao powder, raw honey, protein powder, coconut water. The Krat still adds to the taste, but it's highly masked if you have the proper mix.
Apostle - you really should man. I know you can do it. It's easy to see no hope/future while down in the hole, but once you kick, get some clean time & **recovery** it's amazing how your perspective changes & how much life changes.
** recovery is key. Gotta work through the issues that led to using to not just stay clean, but actually change your perspective & life too.

darkstar start adding coconut milk into your smoothies, silk brand from the carton. it has more vitamin D than cow's milk, tastes hella good nd is healthy too. i used to think t was unhealthy then i learned the types of fats it has are easily digestibly nd not bad as most saturated fats n stuff
