Psychoactive frogs/toads as pets?
    #23674623 - 09/24/16 05:06 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Thinking about buying a couple just to have around, seems pretty novel and cool; and, and and and, psychoactive drugs on tap :drooling:.

How feasible is this idea? Initial costs wouldn't be that much and I'm sure frogs don't require much maintenance relative dogs.

those frogs require a specific environment to survive.

Also, u can milk them (as ive read) about once a month. One guy in the UK had a whole family of them!

I wanna do it someday, would be cool to have some psychedelic frogs :mushroom2:

Also, note that 5-meo-DMT isnt the most pleasant of psychedelics, as ive read. Kinda dark.

There's no point. 5-Meo-DMT is obtainable without scraping a frog for it. It can be synthesized and extracted from plants containing it (which have other tryptamines as well). Raising a family of toads just to harvest their toxins is kind of odd when you can get those toxins much easier from elsewhere.

But its not JUST about the 5-meo, its also about owning a cool unique pet that produces it.

Its the whole package! Pet and provider, together.

Except you could dye the toads all sorts of cool colors to display their psychoactiveness.
