Anyone read it? Some of the stories are amazingly good, and make me wish we could go back to those days where discovering yourself via psychedelics was still legal, and accepted in the US.

Some people discover themselves on psychs, others discover themselves in a secret back room with a catholic priest. I'm glad you bought PIHKAL.

I own both and have read them at least twice, they both are excellent, though the sequel is a little boring if you're looking for the story vs chemistry and drug law/theory.

My mom owns Pihkal and Tihkal I believe, I have read a decent bit of both. They are both incredibly fascinating books thats for sure!
I believe they are both online in their entirety too, I have at least seen many individual pages but I think they might have their own site possibly.
This is what I was thinking of I believe: http://isomerdesign.com/PiHKAL/?domain=tk

Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

I have both, but have only read PHIKAL. It made me realise that Shulgin is pretty much my hero.
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe
