Yes do exactly that and place them in a shotgun fruiting chamber

That chamber has poly in it... O.o that is not a sgfc is it? Perlite is literally only useful in a sgfc.

Where did you learn how to build that? Bet it took you some time to stuff all those hole with poly

I mean, I guess it could work, but damn, that looked like a lot of work.

Just to avoid contamination and poly will help to keep the moisture in. It wasn't that hard, took 10-15 mins per box.

You need holes in the top and bottom. Just as many as what you have on the side. I didn't understand that when I first built a shotgun fruiting chamber (SGFC). I only put the holes in the sides. But you need to have the holes in the top and bottom also. I results in better air flow. Don't bother with the poly.
It looks like you've combined/confused several methods. I'm guessing you crumbled cakes into manure/coir/verm. Next time use a black plastic liner in your little trays and you can avoid those side pins. You also need to cover with tin foil for a week or so before putting into the SGFC.

Bottom I have made holes but nothing on the top. I did crumble the cake into coco coir and vermiculite. One layer bottom and thin layer on top.
Initially I didn't put the poly in the holes, but was worried about the contamination so I put some poly in the holes. Twice to thrice in a day I open lid and fan it for 10-20 seconds. Forgot to put the black liner at the bottom I realized that later. Should I leave the poly as it is or should I remove it ?

op listen to mad season search sgfc build that your mono crossed sgfc ain't right you need holes 1/4" wide every 2" in a 2" x2x square grid pattern on every side including lid and base. You don't need poly fill its not a mono if there's perlite in there. Also that doesn't look very colonised at all dumping it out of the tub may have been a bad move should have fruited invitro, it would be easier to stop it drying on the sides

Lol if you stuffed the poly in so hard it keeps contams out, how are you going to get proper fresh air exchange?
Pro tip- fruiting is the least sterile part of this, and the more fresh air you have, the harder it is for contaminations to germinate. I mean the moment you open your chambers lid or the moment your substrate goes into the chamber, it's already covered in contamination spores from the room.
TL;dr build a proper polyfil-less, FAE king SGFC

I don't see any fruiting chambers
Don't design a chamber unless you know what mushrooms want.
