Hey all, I just spawned my tub yesterday but my parents just told me we'll be out of town until Oct 11 due to a family thing. Is my grow in trouble?

2 and a half weeks, give it 7-10 days to colonize then fruiting you should come back to a harvest if you're lucky.
I would put it in fruiting conditions during the spawn run.

I dunno man. You might want to get somebody you trust to check on it if possible, or harvest when it's time for you.
If you just spawned it, chances are it'll be fully colonized in less than a week, and pushing out mushrooms within a week of full colonization. I've always had full flushes within 2 weeks of spawning.
This is just my opinion though but if it were me I'd be calling my best friend up and loaning him a key.

You should be cultivating reptiles and fish, not mushrooms.

I feel you mate. No worries. Worst case you come home to contaminate hell with random fruit in it. More likely youll end up with a little degraded fruit. Life happens.

update: so there ended up being a contam, I'm pretty sure because the spawn was too wet (when I squeezed the spawn there were more than a few drops of water) and I didn't have time to correct it
Oh well, time to start anew!
