Possible Gymnopilus aeruginosus?
    #23671808 - 09/23/16 06:08 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Found on a rotten log in a thick stand of white pine and mixed hardwoods. The rotten log these are growing out of is probably white pine.

I didn't pick any of these yet, I'd like to let them mature a bit more, they are very small, the largest cap is only like 4 cent. In dia.

My location is northern New York state

I would like to see a spore print, but not aeruginosus.

Might not even be a gym at all, might be something akin to Tricholomopsis, or if they're gyms, something like Gymnopilus sapineus, or Gymnopilus penetrans, especially since they're on conifer.
