Did you relapse? Quitting meth is very hard, and even if you've been doing well for a good long while, many people hit a wall where stressful life situations can trigger a relapse. Dunno where you're at, but keep pushing yourself, pick up new hobbies and make your life more novel and exciting

Credit cards are a necessity, but one that can be put off for awhile. Which I did. I much prefer cash; always spend within my budget that way. But I do need a card now, and I'm having trouble getting one.

Nah I'll have 9 days clean-time tomorrow, just got tired of updating my sig with it every day
The thing that really makes it hard for me is the cravings, I take N-Acetylcysteine which helps a lot but basically I never stop thinking about using for long even when I'm not using
It's been offered a few times in the past week but I keep fighting the craving and turning it down by constantly reminding myself that I will much feel better without it in the long run
That gets tough sometimes but as long as it's not around me I'm alright, it's when it randomly appears that I have to watch out cuz my nose is like magnetically attracted to it

The longer you go without it, the more your body will adjust.. and the less intense the cravings will be. Keep hacking away at it one day at a time man, 9 days is good work

keep it up man. You're in the super early stage of recovery. It takes awhile for your brain to adjust. Takes a while to recover from the damage to your being. After a while it does get better & easier though. The cravings will dissipate. They'll come back, but pass quickly once you learn to deal with them. Acknowledge them, accept them & that they're there....then let them go. It becomes a situation where the cravings coexist with you, but lose their power. Then eventually you find peace & happiness in other things & the desire to use falls away. It takes a long time, and a lot of work....but you can do it & it's well worth it.

Oh yeah, OMJ!
Did you try the l-tyrosine yet? If you did what'd you think? I know it helps me a whole lot!
Good on ya for your staying power man. The first 3-4 weeks off are always the worst for me. Constant exhaustion, feeling nothing but dissatisfaction the debilitating insomnia despite being tired af.
To be honest I never truly return to baseline, but it's tolerable. Just do it for your health, not your feelings.

The NAC helps me a whole lot on its own so I'm prolly just gonna stick with that, maybe I will get some l-tyrosine if it's cheap tho, gotta order some more soon anyway

Yeah man it feels reallllly good to not be spun out and sleep-deprived all the time, kinda worries me though how they always talk about meth burning out the dopamine receptors and causing permanent damage, thankfully I never abused it as much as some of the people around me but I was real heavy with it at various points on and off over the past 5 years, there was many a time where I thought I would never be able to stop using it no matter how hard I tried, kinda scary how it can hold that kind of power over me but I'm just gonna take it one day at a time and treat it like the plague

Does meth feel anything like vivance? I used to get pretty high off that shit. I did enjoy it but it wasnt addictive. I almost want to try meth just to see what addicts are dealing with.
