Looking good. Is that the first flush?
Take care of your sub and you may have a even better second flush.

My second and third flushes always produced MONSTERS. I have a couple 7-8 gram mushrooms dry. If you haven't already started working with agar, then start now. Get some plates going, find some shrooms growing faster then the rest, bigger than the rest, a couple clusters, etc. and clone them to agar. Label each one, and test each one so you know which produces the best. Then replica the expiriment with casing vs. no casing. That way, you found the best genetics with the best growing conditions! Looking good, congrats.

Yea I started agar for the first time along with WBS for this tub. No other way to go really.

These came from a syringe that was supposed to be Golden Teacher spores... It's funny you say that though because I thought the pins looked different myself.

I thought kinda the same thing honestly. The pins are pretty darn fat.
Never seen fatties like that with golden teacher, but hey, it ain't a bad thing. Those oughta produce some decent mushies. Maybe even something you'll wanna clone and print.

Yea i was planning on cloning a few to agar. I haven't made a print yet so I'll have to figure that out. When it comes time to harvest this tub I plan on using a scalpel to cut them at their base. That's the correct way right? I'm afraid Im gonna hack up the substrate in the process.

you can cut or twist and pull. no right way no wrong way as long as you don't dick up your substrate.
I vastly prefer to cut and leave short stumps
some people tell you stumps contaminate, those people just have shitty substrates to begin with, if your shit is healthy your second flush will grow right over and even from the stumps
fresh air, level nicely made flat substrates, and clean spawn. and of course most importantly good genetics. that gets you a canopy.
