I'm pretty confident that all bar number 8 are kind, but I'd like to have it confirmed by more experienced eyes.

I think you're in business. As you say, number 8 looks odd. Wait for a TI.

Thanks Jake. I also have a follow up noon question.
Could I trip with a find this small? I generally have a low tolerance with psychedelics.

Thanks elprawn!!
Enough for a trip, or would it be a waste to take these without gathering more?

I used to measure out 1.5 grams dry. You'd be surprised at how much they shrink when you leave them lying around for a few days (I'm sure they've already shrunk a bit by now).
I'd say go out and find a few more. I'd be very surprised if they were the only ones there. They can take a bit of hunting but there's probably some more.

I found a stash of mushrooms that I think are Liberty Caps here in Ireland, and I need confirmation. Can someone confirm for me please.

Check the response to your own identification request. They're not liberty caps.

I was looking for a second opinion. Damn. Are liberty caps slimy? I came across one little patch of slimy ones that I assumed were not because they were slimy... So what are these do you think?

You can ask for a second opinion in your thread, someone posted in your thread and told you you have Panaelous and Psathyrella.
There is only one mushroom in your picture that i think might be a liberty cap and thats the fourth from the left on the top row, but it's questionable about any others.

Im no expert but ive been picking libs since im 17 18, 24 now. People are more than willing to help just ask for a mushroom ID on shroomery and people will help you identify the little brothers, if your up for it can meet up and go on a hunt

Do people from Ireland on this site just use the UK liberty cap thread? I get the impression there are a few Irish users, maybe just not enough to arrant an individual thread.

You could start the official 2017 Ireland libs thread and see what happens. All that rain must make Ireland an awesome place to hunt.

Haha yes plenty of rain. It surprises me though that it looks like our weather stays quite a bit milder than the northern parts of the UK. At least that's the impression I get from the UK forum. We also don't have as many uphill pastures like the moorland you have in the UK. The result being that our season doesn't start as early but may well last a little longer heading into the winter.
