Why is there no Medication being developed for Depersonalization disorder?

What is the most effective medicine for depersonalization disorder?
Especially psychadelic/Cannabis induced Depersonalization.
With the influx of the use of hallucinogenic drugs, Depersonalization disorder is increasing.
Depersonalization disorder affects millions of people and is more common than people might think but it is often neglected as a disorder.
There are full websites devoted to people going through this disorder.
How come there is no specific medication being researched for Depersonalization/Derealization disorder?
If there is, can someone provide me a link to a study or potential news about the development of a medication?

I got Rispedal , Lorazepam ( Tavor) ,
I gonna try microdosing shrooms now.
Its a defense mechanism from Ego .
What if you experience ego death , go behind it and say to him that everything is alright

The only people I know who use that terminology are transgender. If drugs don't get along with your brain chemistry, don't take them.

I'm trying to imagine what dissociatives would do for someone with depersonalization disorder. You might find yourself or lose yourself completely.

Asante , although it is a dissociative state you get to know yourself as best because you view yourself from a different perspective .
And after having it 4-5 months you really know how it works.
It is worth giving it a try .
I wouldnt use ganja though

I use dissociatives as you may know, and dissociatives are currently investigated for a ton of indications.
I know what it did for me. It helped me kill a whole cluster of psychological impairments.

srsly stfu if you dont know what your talking about, a couple regular posters here has Depersonalisation, which is a pretty serious and debilitating condition, life long condition for some people, It has nothing to do with transgender you sick f.. Also your brain chemestry can change in a day , i did shit tons of drugs before this happened
@Asante i know a dude with DP who tried a clinical ketamine trial, i had hope for him but it turned really sour unfortunatly,
@OP lots of people had different succes story, some people got cured by a simple SSRI, other people had more succes with anti-psychotics. Some had succes with experimental medication. The reason why we didnt find one true medication, is because we are at the dark age of understanding brain chemestry, they cant pin point anything, the brain is so complex . The only way to treat mental problem to this day is by trying and hoping.

I find very few threads about DP/DR include a definition of the condition.
Can anyone here with any experience or knowledge please provide one ?
Based on what little I know, if I had DP/DR I would take nootropics such as noopept with alpha Gpc.
I would also do tons of exercise and martial arts .
I feel like some jujitsu grappling or whatever would snap people back into themselves pretty good, reconnect you with your body and Give you an adrenaline rush.
I would also look into cryotherapy - exposure to super low temperatures for short periods of time .
But yeah exercise and nootropics would be my first stop for treatment .

@educaitonispower,
indeed sir. to correct depersonalization one must first discern what is the self.

I wouldn't call him sick, just ignorant. I think he was thinking about the term dysphoria. Which is similar enough to be confused, I guess.

So what's depersonalisiation? Is it like what happens on salvia? For me that's a fun, but intense trip. Is it not useful to be depersonalised now and then, so you can be objective? There's times, like during being in pain, where it's hard to ignore yourself.
I have never heard of this phenomenon until now so I'm just thinking of all the times I've had out of body experiences and have contemplates "What is me?"

It is a dissociative state where you feel not yourself. You seem to be next to you and someone else is living the live for you. You air like in a bubble , in a dreamlike world where you lose touch with the earth and everything. You are just dissociated with everything and yourself. It is like a permanent ego death maybe ^^
It is not very nice It is due to an chemichal imbalance in your brain and all your senses seem to be blocked.
Peace
