Well this is my first go at this. I have 6 brf cakes starting to colonize. 3 gt are colonizing very well. But my B+ is going a little slower. I didn't notice at first but I was using way to much of the b+ spore syringe in the jars. The syringe only lasted me for 3 jars.noob move. You can notice in the b+ jars there is way more moisture due to me injecting to much solution into them. Is this going to cause contamination.

Here is the b+

Its better to upload to the shroomery man but it more then likely will cause contamination but there is no telling until it happens you may get lucky you may not you only need .5 cc 1 at most per jar

Yes using a lot of spore solution is not a good idea. If that wet are doesn't colonize you can safely assume that it is bacteria.

Spore syringes are pretty dirty a good percentage of the time, so consider that each additional ml increases the chances for contam by a factor of at LEAST 2. Then off balance moisture content is contributing to that chance. I wouldn't count on it.

You're throwing off multiple things with using too much solution in one jar.
I'd watch it closely.
When I started off with cakes I was easily able to pull off 10-12 jars from each syringe by only using 1/4th a cc on each of the 4 inoculation points in every jar.
Too bad the first time I did this I didn't flame tip the needle and I also wiped the needle with a towel that had alcohol on it in between every jar.
We live and learn...
