Removing the whole agar disk.... how do you do it?

I'm making blenderless LI with a fully colonized 90mm petri of golden teacher. I've been using disposable scalpels and dividing it up into quarters to insert into a small mouth jar to shake. All done in a still air box. I wished I could complete the action faster.
What do you do?

bump. No one chimed in, so I guess I'm doing it ok. It just feels clumsy.

Check out pasty plates*. You just squeeze the sides and the puck pops out.
If you're set on petris, try a more angled stab to get the puck/large slice firmly situated in one go
*by pasty plates I mean glad mini rounds or any PC-safe, pliable, poly propelene (sp?) container.

Yeah the only way you can do it with petris is with 60mm dishes. Just pry the agar out from the edge. I haven't had good luck with LI, so I just wedge drop.

I cut out the center, maybe half the area of the full Petri for a grain master.
To avoid contams from the walls

Can I ask what the purpose of making the LI is? Are you just looking to inoculate a bunch of jars at the same time with a clean inoculant, or trying to inoculate a shitload of spawn at once?
Just curious

I do four large myco bags in a pressure cooker in one go. I pre-seal them. I have roommates, so I try to maximize my PC. So I want a good syringe to noc these bags up. LI sounds like a good route for my procedure.

I did my first Li today!!
Clean dish to sterilised water. Just jabbed it out with the scalpel in the SAB and poured it into me prepped millet jars, basically following the Li video in this thread
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21032261
Hopefully my sterile tek will be ok and I'll get 7 jars out of one plate.
My first time so Let me know how you get on

I've been using one large disk for a 60mm syringe... which I use to noc up four 3 quart myco bags.
