anyone ever grow mini-fruits? (inadvertantly or not)
    #23667959 - 09/22/16 12:39 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Hey guys, what do you think? My sub varies from 2.5" at the thickest/center, and slopes down to as low as 1.25" in the corners. 1st flush is producing minis so far. Has anyone ever done something similar? If so, what was your opinion of the resulting shroomies?
(Amazon/Amazonian here, by the way)

1 thing I will add; is they don't hold as much water. They're not stunted/mutant or anything (still look completely normal; just mini) -- but instead of your typical 90% H₂O these seem to hold more like 85%. Not sure if it has anything to do with the moisture-content of the sub, or the environment I've created for them; but at least there's that which is kinda nice.

It's a good thing because it's not like they weigh much at all. There might be a lot of them, but they're legitimately light-weights!

Sounds to me like your substrate isn't properly hydrated. Low water content is usually the cause for small fruits.

Mind sharing some details about this grow of yours? That's usually a good idea for troubleshooting purposes.

Thanks for response; I'm not esp. troubleshooting here though. But a little input is always nice, if ya know what I mean.
