Without SpeakSoftly and JanuaryWolf I would not have been able to get this done- Thanks for all the help!

Now my kitchen is officially a shroom lab and no longer a kitchen. Still need to add a finish and engrave a "TravelAgency" plaque on there.
I am. Excite.

Looking good man, I highly recommend putting a mesh screen to protect the filter face, one wrong move with any hard object and your 99.999% $130 filter is possibly trash.

Yeah my buddy has some metal netting I will attach here soon. I also am wondering how bed to attach the filter to the front. I is an incredibly snug fit- it's got that sticky gel, and I caulked it from the outside- debating whether to screw through the metal on the front or to attach clips to the sides.

Did you put a moulding inside to go into the sticky gasket? That should seal it up.
To hold filter I just got some fender washers and screwed into the edge of the plywood on front. They could hold wire mesh at the same time.

I didn't do anything but let you borrow my hubs, but thanks for the credit, it looks so good! The edition of the paper towel holder is very nice.

Thanks! I've decided I might put shelves on each side, a plaque on the front- and my roommate and I are going to put a Bob Ross marathon on and paint the back a picturesque natural setting.

Hey man it looks good. Is it sealed good enough with just the caulking or do we need to screw it?
Instead of screen mesh which could harbor contaminants, why not get couple hinges and build a door to keep it safe when not in use?
Goodbye SAB

Hmmmm that door idea is a pretty good one. I've ran it breifly and it seemed fine without screwing it in- but I think I will take Gr0wer's lead and put a couple L brackets just for back up - I'll be banging out a lot of agar work tomorrow so I should know for sure

Looks great! What was the total cost? I was just inoculating some agar with a MS syringe of oyster today in a SAB and just found it kind of restricting. 1.3e+1st world problems??

$130 for the filter $243 for blower $98 for materials (you could go for shearer wood if you wanted)
Still going to have to put a finish on it, and going to do some extra aesthetic work so cost will go up a little
