Not sure about what all is in here, but they were dried for the purpose of ingestion.

Unfortunately that's the only picture I have as of now...

Yes sir. Made a woody tasting tea from some last year. Never finished drinking all of it though.

Found these too. Each one had to weigh about a pound!

I appreciate it's just how it was, but next time you could do it better.  The thing with the ID request form is that it is not safe to ID things for people around the world based on scraps of information. It is a naus to do properly but not as nauseating as wondering if you've made a terrible mistake in identification and nothing like as nauseating as ingesting the thing having done so. We could divide your photo into a grid and make some guesses but that isn't proper and safe like an ID request for each species.

Generally with polypores that are not orange you can make a tea, if that's also helpful.

I'll never argue with a TI, I respect all trusted identifiers! When I picked them myselff what I was thinking I had is Lactarius (Milk Caps) Golden Chanterelles, penny bun boletes, Ganoderma, Agaricus, and Turkey Tail and a couple other species. It was fun picking them either way!

I understand I should have gotten Gill shots of one specimen at a time and should have said a little more about the description in the post. Next time I'll do better!

Thanks for the advice Joie!
