Grey mold or tormentose mycelium?

inoculated some (badly shaped) brf jars on the 29th August, mycelium growth seemed pretty great until 3 or so days ago when I noticed some darker shaded mycelium. I quarantined the jar away from everything else in case it was a contam. Pic quality isn't the best I'm afraid, but it's the darker grey area in the middle of the pictures. The first pic shows what the presumably healthy mycelium looks like, the grey area is on the other side.

Need better pics, not clear enough to tell.
Possibility of having cobweb mold inside a jar is really low. Just wait for 12 hours and it'll grow x10 to x100 bigger and you'll know .)

I think the pics are good as I can get :/
It's definitely not cobweb, it's been quarantined for a while now and hasn't shown much growth.
The bit on the right has gone a little bit whiter but the middle bit connecting them as such is still pretty grey.

They're really out of focus though.
Just wait for the jar to finish colonization; even if it's contam, you can't do anything to help it anyway.
If it is contamination, either the jar will not fully colonize or you'll know it's contam by the smell when you open the jar. Don't beat yourself up. Worst case scenario: you have other jars going
Good luck!

Yeah, my phone camera is very bad at up-close shots
I do have other jars that are colonising faster than it anyway, if it is contaminated should I try cut the mouldy bit off or just put it outside?

Just leave the jar alone until fully colonized and consolidated. If it's contaminated it won't probably make it to those stages.
