Congrats! Whats going on in pic 5 there? Also why did you choose 10 gram baggies over 14 gram baggies?

Looks like he is using the rods to keep the substrate submerged for a soak.

Ahh clever! Would you just tip and pour the tub afterward or is there another fancy trick Im missing out on?

The most common two methods I've seen are:
1. Using plywood to hold the sub down while tipping (to avoid breaking). 2. Drilling a small hole in on of the bottom corners of the tub meaning you only need a very small tilt.
Probably more ways, Im still a bit aways from my first flush of my first mono so I havn't dug deep yet. Id be interested in hearing other takes on this.
OP, things look like they are going swimmingly! I only hope I do half as well with my run.

10 grams bags are a lot easier to keep track of for personal use.

Yeah that works but this is what I am doing now.

All the first flushes are done and I got about a little over a pound and about to start another 5 5tub grow. 'Not sure when the next flush will come.
I found smaller lids that I use to weight down the sub and tape the holes to keep it under water for 4 hours.

Wow. Your sub can bench a lot of weight. Nicely done.
