Drugs are amazing. They feel great, they make me a better person, they make me better at my job and better at life. I have no intention of quitting. Drugs are awesome.

Nah, I just mean I still use shit like caffeine, tylenol, nicotine (I guess you could argue thats recreational, but I dont enjoy it), etc.
Basically I still use things that would be defined as drugs, but aren't fun.

Anyway, making a generalization like "drugs are unsafe" is asinine.
I think almost everyone would be better off if they abstained from drugs that release significantly more dopamine than, for example, sex or good food.

And what would that include morrow?
I feel like I have a shitload more dopamine in my brain after sex than I do after taking alot of drugs. Which drugs?

Drugs are great once you've got it all figured out. There can be some growing pains and some people never get it worked out. In time you'll realize all your fears where baseless. You're the drop returning to an ocean of bliss. You have to experience it to really understand. It's who you always where, but for now you've forgotten...

I don't.
For certain cocaine, amphetamines and related phenethylamines, and certain research chemicals like synthetic cannabinoids. If there were actually a way of controlling for a quantitative equivalent between the two I bet you'd find that most people get more dopamine from taking those drugs than they do from sex. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a significant amount of people, who we colloquially refer to as having "addictive personalities", actually get more dopamine from opioids, and even potent marijuana and alcohol than from having sex. But the amount of dopamine you get from taking a particular drug all depends upon the initial conditions; ie how many receptor sites you have for that drug, how many dopaminergic pathways they activate, and the pathological structure of your mesolimbic system and the glutamate pathways that it activates.
