Hopefully this can become a useful catalog with everyone's help
OATS
Healthy:
 After shake and before shake. These jars are filled to the brim and yet the spawn is still easy to break up. You spawn should break up easily if healthy.

After shake recovery(within 48hours):
 Roughly 30 hours after a shake at 50% colonization
Bacterial:
 Couldn't shake stayed in clumps while others of the same batch broke up easily. No recovery of further colonization after the shake.

Sweet Bod, this was a cool idea. I sense a TC tag in the future. Did you purposely ruin jars for the sake of the thread?

First time doing grains and had great spawn that broke up just from the g force of shaking. I laughed to myself thinking about all the posts I read about people taking their jars to a tire before spawning or bruised hands.
 Agar ftw!

Some bacterial wheat (smelled really sour, yeast-like when I opened the jars)

It was a bitch to break the grains; my hand was sore the day after. Spawn in jars are currently colonizing a monotub and I am currently working on agar for a better future.

Some bacterial WBS, smelled sweet/sour when spawning. Sat in the tubs for 3 weeks and never did anything.

Nope. I used needles/syringes for the little bit of growing I've gotten around to this year and it has its consequences. Inoculation done open air with syringes I used my gas stove to flame the needles. and the LC was made with the same plate I put clone tissue on so I wouldn't be surprised if that had some to do with losing a couple jars.

On closer inspection it looks like 3 pieces of agar clumped together...

Most likely from tiger drop method where you pop n drop the whole plate of agar from a pasty plate into a jar of grain
