Found in the garden
    #23662114 - 09/20/16 03:20 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

These were found in my garden. Many more small ones
coming up.

Southeast Pennsylvania. Waiting on a spore print. I dug
slightly into the ground around the base of the mushroom
and found no volva or remnants of an old one.

really the wrong gill color for the Agaricus i've seen, i guess.  the ones i've found in garden and garden-like habitats have been pretty obvious...pink >> white-gray >> purple and black.

you'd think there would be some spore deposit on the annulus but i don't see it.

damn.  that didn't do anything to satiate my curiosity .

i guess maybe i was wrong about the gills still maturing.  it looked like that LH specimen (especially) was a fresh one due to veil remnants on the margin.  weird there was no spore residue on the annulus if they were mature.

Got more but drier conditions. Began to yellow as did my other

Could these perhaps be a Leucoagaricus sp?

I'm no identifier but I guess it is possible. Pinkish gills.
No print either. Perhaps I can go a third try
