Urgent storage help needed.

OK so I have just produced a lovely amount of fresh Teachers. Harvested the lot, got them prepared for the dehydrator and that's when disaster struck.
Problem one. My girlftiend has "borrowed the dehydrator and is currently using it to make bloody Kale chips and is insistant she needs itmore then me right now.
Problem 2. The fridge has only gone and broken.
So for the next 8 or so hours I've got a large amount of fresh fruits potentially rotting away until she's done with the dehydrator.
None of my friends or family are willing to hold on to them for obvious reasons.
Is there's any way I can store these mushies temporarily until my lovely partner has finished hogging the dehydrator. I'm equipped with a cold bag, ice and a tupperwear box.. Will that be enough?

You could put them on a paper plate and blow a fan on them until your dehydrator is back.

Our oven cooks waaaaaay to hot. Its a tank at cooking a pizza in 8 minutes but I wouldn't trust it for mushrooms.

I don't own a fan, never gets hot enough where I'm from to warrant owning one.
Am I screwed or are they going to survive the time they are going to be left out?

1. Talk can help.
2. Split large stemps in half. Large caps can cut in half too. Then wrap it into newspaper sheets and dry over a radiator or other heat sources.

That's awesome. Will get right on it. Cheers.

Don't date women who eat kale chips let alone make their own. That's my cultivation advice

You can lay out some newspaper or a towel and spread them out on that for 8 hours with no harm, it will dry them a little too. It takes more than 8 hours for freshies to start going tits on you in normal temperatures. Otherwise taking prints would be pointless.

Just dont store them in a bag or enclosed space of any kind, lay them out in the open and you will be A-OK.

kept em open wrapped loosely in newspaper on the radiator. took em out and they were unchanged from harvest (albeit a little more bruised) and stuck em in the dehydrator overnight for what equated to about 6 hours at 60 degrees Celsius. dry by morning but as we have 80% humidity + where im from they went from cracker dry to bendy in the time it took me to check my emails and drink my coffee. so gave em another blast in the dehydrator for 2 hours then immediately put them in assorted jars and ziplock bags with homemade desiccant pouches (Calcium Silica based cat litter wrapped up tight in a coffee filter) 6 hours down the line and theres no sign of moisture in any of the containers so I'm satisfied this has been a success.
one thing I will note, as this was my first grow (always liberty cap hunted prior to this) is that these GT's stink well and good of old socks. I've read thats somewhat common for dry cubes and I hope that's the case and that these havent got some kind of nasty ass bacteria growing on em.
