Hey lil, real beauties you got there! Looks like all pasteurized hpoo...have you noticed yield differences (less) with other subs or do you just prefer it all around? Dunk that shit between flushes? Good stuff!

No dunk in between flushes, only bottom water fed during fruiting and a heavy watering after each harvest. New photos added to bottom of original post

Such a great isolate you found.. How long did it take? How many isolates did you test till you found this one? I'm amazed because I thought you would need to clone then pick isolates Where did you get the idea of bottom watering?

hi there !
fucking impressive work man ! i'm gonna try this method for sure ;
question ; do you use regular tap water to soak the grains in the jars ? and you just break them enough so the water goes through to the bottom ; then drain shake to crumble and spawn ?
also , with the fruiting conditions dialed in from spawn day ; wouldn't the tub get fresh air early and avoid CO2 concentration for proper colonization ? i see that works perfectly but i can't understand how it works
thanks !!!!!

Far out mang! That is exceptional work there and proof to using clean spawn and spawining to fruiting conditions. VERY impressive. Dick

Took me a couple months to find a couple decent isolates that preformed well. I'm unsure of who started bottom watering but I know of others who do it too, pasty is one other person I can think of atm.

Yes I use regular tap water, but only because it's not giving me any problems, I use XL bags, I cut open the top then slip the bag through a 1-1/4" pipe, gently break up the grain and pour water into the bag through the opening in the pipe. Soak for 10-15 minutes before draining and spawning. In regards to your CO2 question, yes you can get a bigger pinset with late casing and taping the holes, but that adds another week or so and leaves grains exposed for that first week. Not only that, I like the set and forget aspect of Azur's "no tape and case at spawn" tek. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22315950/fpart/1/vc/1

How do you bottom water a tub? Thank you, you're an inspiration! Dick

I just add 10 ml of water per side inbetween the liner and sub. Only start to add once the pinset is fully in and if it looks dense. This will keep the aborts down and bring them to maturity. As lilolme has effectively demonstrated.

THANK YOU. I've been wondering how you guys went about bottom watering but the search function failed me. Would you use half that for a mini mono? I've got four minis due to pin any day now.
