Found growing in soil of mixed hardwood forest, northwest Missouri. A lot of russula and cortinarius around as well.

Cap- orange to brown, no more than 5cm diameter.

Stem- simple stem about 5cm long 1/2 cm wide, no annulus or ring zone present. Gills appear to be free.

Spore- light brown

A seriously beautiful one at that. Suspecting Dermocybe group.
