I think it depends on the person, I've barely had any negative interactions here, I'm positive there's people that don't like me here but I don't act like a tard (most of the time) so I don't get treated like one. Shitbirds make themselves targets by being shitbirds. Not saying you are one, never actually saw you post before, but that's the way it comes off to me. Most of the people I see get shit on here are usually asking for it.

I dont even post in Pub ect I mostly just try to help people ID mushrooms and browse the marketplace.
Just get the feeling this is the kind of website where people dont try to make friends or get along they just try to feel superior to eachother.
I have plenty of examples of other websites where ive made plenty of friends and had some great long conversations with people, after 800 posts here ive had nothing even close. Ive actually had alot of negative experiences here.

Thanks man, Nothing against the community here theres probably alot of chill ppl. they just have their own niche and anyone who hasnt been a part of it form the start is an unwelcomed outsider.
and I dont have any real deep emotion into this site but I really like learning about mushrooms and it feels like im stepping on toes when i try to post here.
Shouldnt be a competition should just be being helpful and learning at the same time but thats definitely not whats going on in the ID forum.

Im just trying to find a site where I can lean about mushrooms and share what I know about them without it being a huge competition, From my experience here so far it seems counter-productive to learning about mycology and more like trying to be the best.
When it is something as complicated and deep as mycology noone is ever the best everyone knows something someone else dosent

Well you know what they say, "where mushroom hunting and identification fails, the pub steps in". I never really forgave them after I went to all the trouble to learn to spell Subbalteatus and they went and changed it to something even harder to spell.
