im in the market for a new ecig. I was thinking of going with the chieftain 220w box mod and a kangertech subtank. I had a similar set-up before and had mad clouds of vap. Any suggestions? Also on the a batteries, what is the preferable mAH? had a problem last time with the batteries dying fast

What mah rating were your previous batteries? What resistance and watts were you running?
BOX: I love my sigelei 150 watt box with temp control.
BATTERIES: 18650's 3000mah 3.7V
SETUP: I usually drip. I like to build between .2-.4ohms and keep my box at ~45watts on lower ohm builds and all the way down to ~25-30 watts on higher resistance builds. I find my battery life at ~12-24 hours depending on how much I'm using it and my settings.
TANK: I don't usually use one but I like the Arctic tanks. I get the best vape/flavor from these. I've never been a fan of the kangertech tanks, they always leak/produce a really dry vape for me.
I'm ALWAYS experimenting and mimicking other people's set ups to see what they're all about! Tanks are great for convenience but I feel using a dripper and wrapping your own coils lets you tweak/customize to your preferences.

Hey pris, do you wake up coughing up propylene glycol? Because I sure as hell do, not that I care exactly. It's just annoying.
I vape all day @35w ish on my eleaf 50w ( I have some crazy mods but 50w is all I need). It's lasted me two years so far, I can't remember a vape lasting this long.

I did when I was vaping. But then, when I smoked I was coughing up phlegm and mucus, so it's an okay trade off.
Quit recently altogether about 6 or 7 weeks ago. The difference between not smoking and smoking is enormous. The difference between vaping and not smoking/vaping is relatively small.

I mix my own juices thanks to the wonderful vapers at the shroomery telling me I'm a fool not to do it. mine are always max VG, a few places will custom make juices at what ever mix you wish, http://higgycigs.com is one of those places, they're great people with great customer service and they really do a bang up job on their juices. if you feel you're coughing from the PG then hit them up, they have a menu where you can select what you want in VG/PG ratios, nicotine and flavor strengths.
I dont wake up coughing from anything anymore, I used to wake up nightly when I was smoking, I felt like I was drowning and would wake up 2-3 times each night.

my sigeili VV mod is 4 years old and still going strong, I just picked up a couple of copper mechs that I've been using. I still like my 150TC and the reuleaux, the reuleaux because of the fit in my hand and the battery life.
also, stick an o-ring on the 510 threads of your RDAs if you use them, it'll keep juice out of your mods

My Sigelei 150 has been going for a good year and a half now, it's been dropped well over 100 times, subjected to both hot and cold temperatures and it has never given a single fuck
Might have to replace the fire button soon but other than that it's golden

mine is the same.
my Reuleaux was dropped in chicken broth where it managed to sit for about a minute before I noticed it was firing, I rinced it really well, let it dry for a few weeks and it's worked fine, I use it daily

But I'm running the new Subox mini-C as my main vape right now. $30 up to 50 watts which is all I need if I'm running .5 ohms or less.

But with the cheap price comes a catch, you really gotta get a new tank. I replaced the tank with a top tank nano from my SUBVOD pen. The tank that comes with the mini-C is horrible, they tried to be innovative and made it the worst leaking tank on the market I would imagine. There's literally a direct path for juice to get out if you turn it the wrong way. It's fine as a backup tank though once you figure out how to use it without making it leak.
The pen is pretty sweet though. I usually tank the tank from my mod and put it on my pen if I'm running around all day. Give a nice smoke, better than any pen I've ever seen or used.

Is there a tek for DIY vape juice, or is it essentially just mixing VG, that solution, and flavor?

I fill a pen tank 3/4 full of VG then add about 15 drip of flavouring.
Mixed in the tank by shaking the pen.
No nicotine.

You probably shouldn't charge the RX200 through the on-board USB port because AFAIK doing so has been known to cause problems/glitches, get a good 18650 charger and just charge your batteries separately, Xtar makes excellent 18650 chargers so I'd recommend one of their 4-port variations
But yeah the USB port on the RX200 is meant to be used to download updates, people have reported issues occurring from using it to charge the device however
