We'll the primary light source is a 150w LED panel, I forgot where I got it from I bought it a few years ago.
Other than that I have 2x 24w 5200kelvin CFLS and a 2600kelvin 24w? Flouro tube in the corner.
Tbh it's the LED. it really gives the plants pretty intense lighting and it keeps them nice a short.
Other than that I started feeding them with a very light dose of 1-1-1 kelp fertilizer and slightly acidic 6.6ph fish emulsion water from my aquariums.

Figured you guys might like this... Last year my Salvia's flowered but weren't favorable for seeds. However one plant managed to give me 4 mature seeds. I planted them as soon as I found them but I didn't expect any results. One germinated and the others turned to mush. It didn't look very healthy so I never expected it to live long. I didn't think anything about it until recently when I was inspecting it.
Check out these mature leaves. You can also see that it is covered in trichomes.

This plant is about 10 months old I think.

You harvested the entire thing?? Why? Or am I misunderstanding you..
I prune the leaves that are either: - clearly deteriorating spontaneously - redundant, overlapping and taking away each other's light - full sized / fully matured and more than needed
That way it's not like killing your best friend but more like... abusing your best friend a little.

Yeah she was just too big for the pot and too tall for the grow space. Kept falling over on me.
I left quite a bit on the plant, but probabaly harvest over 80 percent. Took a bunch of clones though. Hopefully most survive.
That was about 3/4 of the leaves in that pic. I just left them there and put a fan on them. Hopefully that is good enough. Salvinorin seems very stable IME.
Quidded on some stems during the process. My body was vibrating very intensely which surprised me. Slight, but prominent vision changes if that makes sense. Things just popped out at me, but there wasn't really waves or anything. Lines on things got a bit blurry.
I have some sort of pest but I can't identify it. I looked all over with a 40x scope multiple times now, but can never see anything.

that is amazing Oggy , you should have recorded the whole process you have on your hands new salvia genes !!! that is amazing!!! Congrats!!! I would definitely take really good care of it and maybe even contact some people in this field!!! Honestly I don't know anybody else that grows salvia and have it flower, set seed and germinate!!! Inducing flowering to some of my plants is my next project!!! I think is not that difficult from what I understand the problem is to have it set viable seed. WOW!
d0ourd3n, I noticed that you cut the leaves at the base, IME if you leave part of the leaf, even very little that node is more likely to have strong shoots coming out and will also get thicker and stronger compared to when you remove the whole leaf. I will post some pics tomorrow since I just give a haircut to one of my bushy clones.

Bahahaha amonra I've been there before buddy no problem
My LST clone is looking lovely... She took to the new pot very nicely.
Trimmed my mother a week ago, she's looking really nice now too I'll take some pics here soon.
I have a off topic question... Does anyone know where I can buy small little plastic pots like the little ones cacti come in, in bulk and cheap??

dourd3n: makes sense then good job!
@oggy: yeah read that seedling thread with popcorn in hand. Idk how rare viable Salvia seeds are exactly but it feels special like an immaculate conception. You could try founding a religion around it...

It's too bad the user "When" isn't still doing his salvia updates.
He seemed to have really good "luck" with his seedlings.

Hey everyone, finally got my hands on a little cutting, and I'm super grateful for it . Just gonna post a pic here and periodically post more as it grows, and if I have questions. Super looking forward to seeing what this has to offer.
