Shrooms to see reality

Hey guys ,
I have lately been a lot depressed and stucked in a spiritual way.
I want to feel the connection to everything again and the love and a open heart.
I am planning on microdosing shrooms now.
The thing is as McKenna says it is better to go on for more 3g to not fight anything.
Do you think micro is better for better health in general or goig full trip to breakthrough?
Whats your advice , stories ?

I think using drugs of any kind is not ideal to overcome depression. That's about as useful of a comment I can give on that

Psychedelics can alter your perspective and may give your mind a bit of a "break"; from the monotony. Depression is ALL about perspective and is relative to the individual. In order to "fix" your mind, you must make permanent changes in your daily life.Examples include: *learn a skill (guitar, marksmanship, language, martial arts) *change your setting (exercise, "go out") *get busy (home improvement projects, self-improvement, anything to use your free time) *eat better. Salt and sugar is satisfying but wont fill the "hole" for long. Poor diet promotes a poor reality. Eat green things; fresh things. We feel better when we aren't stuffing our bodies with sugar and salt. Nutrition and cooking both provide lasting fulfillment and satisfaction.
I also suggest improving your hygiene. It is easy to wallow in self-pity, when you smell like shit. Warsh your arse. Warsh your pits. Brush/Floss. Research has shown definitive links between poor dental hygiene and mental illness (depression, mania, bipolar swings) Read more here http://www.rdhmag.com/articles/print/volume-32/volume-12/features/dental-voices-for-mental-health.html
Also, accept that what you are experiencing is PART of the “Human Experience”. If you are inclined to spirituality, I encourage you to learn more about the “Four Noble Truths” and the “Eightfold Path”; from Buddhism. In essence, “Life is hardship, this is the only truth. Learning to enjoy life, despite its hardships, is a lifelong pursuit.” You’re off to a good start. If you want to make progress, be patient and persistent. Do not hide, from your poor choices and behaviors; acknowledge them and grow.I don’t pretend to know all the answers, I just know what has worked for me.

Yeah, I'm with Eminence. Based on your post history of late, I think a break from any and all substances might be the best idea.

yeah, as an analogy.. if you went exploring and got lost in the woods, that would be the time to gather your senses and try and get out - rather than decide to explore even deeper

It is risky saying to people in this culture 'I am depressed' because saying your unhappy now is often a loaded term to people making them thing you are 'mentally ill'. I mean shit let's get real. This is the current myth, the myth of mental illness.
Let me explain what I mean by this, because I have upset some when I say it. They think I mean that I am saying your unhappiness, anxiety, seeing visions/hearing voices ('schizophrenia', 'bipolar') etc etc etc is a myth/not real. No I rather mean that the myth is how this culture calls these experiences biological illness.
This myth is toxic and enforces a straightjacket around us and this goes within us, and that is what it is meant to do. It is, as usual all about an insidious divide and control following the traditional religious version which had us distrusting our nature, sensuality, mind, and body and others and the natural world. That is about CONTROL. And then it goes into the mechanistic phase we're in now where 'God' is dispensed with and then our behaviour becomes pathologized. IE we are now seen, and made to think of ourselves, as machines which can go wrong when the 'chemical balance' is wrong. Then we go to the 'experts' who 'treat ' this ;unbalance' with drugs, ECT etc--in the past the insane fkers have even cut parts from peoples brains/'lobotomies'. Now they use their toxic 'medication' for that purpose
So this is why you will get irate people who scream 'nooooo!!! dont take psychedelics when your 'depressed'!!!' Because they themselves are taken up with the VERy all-pervading myth that 'depression' is a biological illness and you need the 'experts' and their freakin drugs.
I recommend you really look into what I am talking about here, so you find out for yourself, because this is a very powerful myth and it needs exposing and undermining and telling others.

Of course. That we do not is evidence of MASSIVE trauma that has been done to use over many many generations. This is part of the divide and control mindcontrolling strategy the ruling classes do on 'their own people' and the native peoples they invade and totally abuse in everywhich way. And then natural response to this deep trauma they make out is biological illness and then make vast profits from the drugs they promise will 'treat' us. For some recently abused their will be memory of the origins of this divide and control from the land and community etc, but for those entrenched in their mindcontroling hostile civilization there is a forgetting. A deliberate suppression of memory. then it is people will not even realize the ultimate source of why they feel unhappy
I neither recommend McKennas so-called 'heroic dose' nor microdosing, though both ways are said to have their value of course. But I also ask you to sonsider miniomal dose which is eg 10 magic mushrooms (eg liberty caps. 10-20
And to let them encourage a sense of humour. Really allow yourself to giggle, to bubble up with joy, and freely express yourself including sexuality if you are in the mood. Complete freedom.

I feel a similar way, I've had depression the last couple of years, I've always felt that my life was about regaining control that has been taken from me. I'm currently exploring spirituality, and trying to improve everything from my diet, to my ego.

This is great advice. All of it.
I'm glad you touched upon the hygiene. That can be a vicious loop. Clean body. Clean bathroom. Clean house.
Everything is a projection of you. The house is the mind. Keep it fresh.

Great post!
For me it's sad to hear all these people advising other people to step off the path just when they start making progress.
A lot of people seem to think that going back to the culture is the way to heal oneself. They seem to think that this is the mature thing to do somehow.

It is, but having fake friends around is more depressing than being alone...I'm in an area the only people I know are through my ex-wife...I'd rather not associate with them...so it is what it is

word of advice: DON'T listen to 'Desmond'!
Research what I am talking about. Here is a great source below which proves that all the shrink-talk about 'depression' being a 'chemical imbalance' was always fraudulent! A big reason I never resorted to taking psychiatric drugs. I knew/learned this years before it is now being admitted by them, including the head of the APA!
Quote:
Psychiatry’s Grand Confession
The psychiatric profession has finally come clean and confessed on a national media outlet that there is no evidence to support the Serotonin Theory of Depression. Today, on NPR’s Morning Edition there is a segment about the chemical imbalance theory, and virtually all the psychiatrists who are interviewed acknowledge that the there was never any evidence in support of the idea that low serotonin causes depression. But then, amazingly, they go on to say that it is perfectly fine to tell patients that serotonin imbalance causes depression even though they know this isn’t the case. [ff]
