Hey mush, I just wanted to give my 2 cents, if the plan is keeping 7 tubs interchanging over a period of time I think the best and easiest way to accomplish this would be with just coir sub. Hear me out, the biggest issue you are going to have keeping the system going while using poo is a lot of time spent pasteurizing, which isn't really a big deal on a smaller scale, but remember you are also going to spending a ton of time producing spawn, you need spawn bags, you quickly realize how much time and labor that saves when producing large amounts of grain spawn, not to mention incubation space and ease of spawning large amounts of tubs.
Secondly, I have found it incredibly simple to prep 7 tubs worth of coir in one shot using a 5kg brick of coir(which is how I buy them)
Take your 5kg brick and break it up into smaller pieces inside of a large tote. Add 4 gallons of vermiculite 5-7 cups of gypsum Boil 7 1/2 gallons of water and pour into the tote Use a shovel and give a quick mix and put the lid on. Come back an hour later and mix it up really well again. Wait to cool and use. I have my 7 tubs already lined and ready when the sub is cooled and use a well cleaned gallon pitcher to distribute 3 gallons per tub, I also case at spawning so I throw a little more of the sub on there after mixing the spawn.
That recipe makes 7 cased tubs exactly, and is extremely streamlined and not very laborious.
Anyways, not trying to sway your choice of substrate, I just wanted let you know how easy it can be making a bunch of tubs at once with just coir.

That's actually a really good point.
I really honestly am not looking forward to pasteurizing all this, and CVG might actually save me from having to expend too much labor for negligible returns. Plus, the "bucket" method can be used with what you're suggestion.
Definitely something to think about.

Yeah it's just like bucket tek, just a large bulk version of the bucket tek, I found it a super handy way to start a 7 tub run in just a few hours, though the real work is in getting that spawn together.

The spawn part isn't an issue for me.
Definitely going to be mulling this one around while my spawn colonizes. Thanks for the help
