A list of supernatural things I have experienced 3
#23654724 - 09/18/16 02:27 AM (7 years, 4 months ago) |

I am reflecting on the fact that I have witnessed, experienced and participated in a huge number of paranormal or supernatural events.
It then occured to me that it would be worthwhile to create a list of these occurences, as all of them are absolutely fascinating to me, and might hold interest for others.
For me, these events constitute undeniable proof for me personally of the existence of UFOs, ghosts or spirits, telepathy, precognition, magick and other paranormal phenomenon.
For now, I will only list those experiences that directly involved me, and not those of my close friends of family.
So let us begin

A List of Supernatural Events
1. One time I was at my cabin alone. I was expecting my father. I was on mushrooms.
Suddenly, an overwhelming fear overcame me.
I had the intense premonition that my father had been in a car accident.
I tried to convince myself I was just tripping out and being paranoid. But I couldn't shake the intense anxiety and the certainty something bad had happened.
Then it occurred to me that I could simply phone my father, and he would surely tell me he was fine and I would not worry anymore.
So I phoned his cell. He answered. "Hi Dad, how are you?" I asked. "I am fine" he said , but his voice was shaken . "I just hit a bear on the highway".
I was thunderstruck.
"how long ago?" I asked. "about fifteen minutes" he said.
That was almost exactly the time when the premonition came over me.
It now seemed proven beyond a doubt I had experienced a genuine telepathic/precognitive event.
I had, at the exact time he hit the bear, been overtaken with the idea he had been in a car accident, something I have never feared before or since.
I should also point out that this same trip, prior to the premonition, I was having intense mental experiences telling me I was a co-creator with God, and I could create reality, etc.
The next morning I woke up, went to the living room, and saw a white book.
It was called "conversations with God". I read it, and was Godsmacked again. This book was saying EXACTLY the same things the mushrooms had been saying to me in clear words the night before.
The discovery of this book at this time was a second miracle of sorts. One of many meaningful coincidences, or synchronicities, I have encountered.

2. I am walking with my friend in a back alley. I hear a car coming around the corner. For some reason that I dont understand, I am compelled to run and hide behind a fence.
My friend is perplexed by why I have done this. The car comes around the corner and suddenly picks up speed. The passenger opens his door and intentionally smashes my friends body with it as he drives by, creating a massive bruise up his entire side.
In retrospect, it seems clear I had a genuine "spider sense" type premonition of danger, which saved me from possibly being hit by the car or the door as well.

3. Me and my friend are playing cards with an "Iraqi Most Wanted" deck shows a supposed taget of the US military in Iraq. One of the men on one of the pictures is very fat and funny looking, so we make a drinking game rule where if we flip that card we all have to pound our drinks.
The entire deck of card is layed out face down. I am already too drunk.
My friend is reaching for a card, which is face down, and is about to pick it up.
"No!" I say. he is perplexed and looks at me like WTF.
He flips the card. It is the fat man, as I knew it was. I pound my drink.

4. When I was in a psychotic/mystical trance/rapture insanity/prophetic madness state for two weeks, a number of miracles occured.
I will list them here as concisely as I can.
When I was in the hospital, they covered me from head to toe in a white blanket that completely covered my face and body, and wheeled me through the hospital. It was an amazing, bizarre experience.
When I got to my room in the psych ward, I discovered a bible. I opened it, and it immediately fell open to a page that had an illustration. The drawing depicted the apostles carrying jesus, whose body was cloaked entirely in a white shroud.
i had just been similarly cloaked in a white shroud and carried. To open the bible to exactly this page, when I had never before seen such a drawing and never before been cloaked in a white shroud, was one of many gobstopping coincidences.
At another time, I was at my apartment, in the early stages of the holy madness. My two friends were there visiting. When it was time for them to leave, I had the intense premonition that something bad was going to happen to one of my friends on their way home.
i went to my wife and said "I have to go with him, something bad is going to happen".
She was confused as I would never and have never done something like that before (leave the house and go home with a friend like that at bedtime).
We are about to get in the car and my other friend wants to come with us. "No" i say "Go in the other car. Something bad is going to happen".
Confused, but adam agrees. I draw a sigil in the snow on top of the car and get in.
As he begins to drive, I begin mentally reciting a mantra. He speeds up and the premonition of doom grows intenser by the second. I brace myself and chant my mantra with all my strength.
We crash at high speed into the side of taxi who spins wildly across the road. A T-Bone collision.
Alex begins speeding off. "No! " I say "we have to see if he is hurt! We have to go back!"
"No fucking way!" he shouts and continues to hit and run.
"NO TURN BACK WE HAVE TO SEE IF HE IS OK" I shout.
He reluctantly does.
By now a huge group of taxi drivers have been assembled and they are furious. "Why did you drive away?!" they scream
"I am sorry, we are back now, is everyone ok? " I ask
everyone is unharmed, but about ten taxi drivers with a shared ethnicity are out for blood. I see the hubcab has been broken off and is lying in the road.
I go and pick it up. It seems charged with mystical significance. I hold it in peaceful silence.
Then I look and see that behind the ten or so angry cab drivers is one... other.
He looks very different. There is no anger in him.
He is a sort of Sikh angel, I think.
We look at each other and share a deep connection. He is there to keep peace on his side as I am on mine.
He nods at me with profound understanding, or so it seems to me.
In the end everything worked out fine.
No one was hurt or charged.
In retrospect, it seems obvious and beyond doubt that my premonition that something bad was going to happen was totally correct, and I had an important role to play there.
I really did need to go with him, because if I hadn't , he would have been in a hit and run.
This was a serious fucking car accident. Its a secondary miracle of sorts that no one was hurt.
Its possible that the impact had some role in the intensification of my mystical madness that followed, but that is speculation.
Personally, I believe my chanting the mantra and being there also played a role in why no one was injured, but that is conjecture.
That the premonition was accurate is beyond dispute.

5. When I was in the hospital, a man approached me. I was reading a newspaper. I took out the sports section and handed it to him. His face went pale and his eyes went wide. I knew that he had been about to ask me for the sports section, and his astonishment was due to my handing it him before he had asked.
Spooked, he turned and hurried away.

6.

My friends were all at my house doing K and MDMA. I was in a profound religious trance.
My friend was about to go sell blow. I knew something bad was about to happen to him, so I approached him and put a blessing on him.
"You are ADAM KADMON, the perfect man, pure and invincible. You are invincible"
i said to him, and embraced him.
He left.
We continued our rapture.
He returned. His face was white and pale, he was shaking, he looks horrified.
I embraced him. "come in, you are loved, you are loved" we all say, and the entire group embraces him in the cuddle puddle.
When he has recovered his calm somewhat, he tells us what happened.
He was making a drop off for cocaine. The buyers ambushed him. they tried to drag him out of the car. Fortunately, after driving around all day alone, he had just picked up a friend at the previous stop and was giving him a ride.
Said friend punched the ambushers in the face as they tried to drag him out the window, saving him.
As they sped away, the ambushers threw a ballpeen hammer through the back windshield. It struck a perfect blow to the back of my friend's head, but bounced off harmlessly.
He believes to this day that it was my blessing that saved him that night, and my embrace when he returned that convinced him to stop dealing blow, which was exactly my magical intention.

7. I was at the cabin with a friend. We did mushrooms. I became a wizard and put on a magic robe and grabbed a staff and began casting spells and speaking in warlock talk.
Earlier we had been prancing and frolicking around, he was being a squirrel, I was being a bear.
A right pair of dandies no doubt.
But the problem was that in all that rolling and leaping around, he had lost his inhaler and was severely asthmatic. He became quite concerned and felt the need to find it, but the property was huge , it was pitch black, and finding it seemed likely to be no small task.
"No fear" I said "I will cast a spell to recover it"
I gestured and chanted an incantation, brandishing my staff.
When the spell was complete I grabbed my flashlight, opened the door, and pointed the light with intense conviction.
INSTANTLY, and IMMEDIATLY the beam of light fell.... directly and exactly on the inhaler.
It was just precisely right there, right exactly where I had pointed my light in the first attempt after casting the spell.
Considering the size of the area we had danced and rolled around on, and the small size of the inhaler, I count this as an example of real and succesful Magick.

8. I was sitting in a basement with some friends. I was zoning out staring at a piece of yarn on a desk in front of me.
Suddenly the yarn rose up on its end, floating in the air as if standing up and waving side to side, now completely erect.
I was astonished.
I turned to my friend sitting behind me as if to say "do you fucking see this?!"
His face was pale, his eyes wide. he had seen it too.

9. I once played poker with my friends. I know nothing about poker, they play all the time. I can't do math at all, and have no skill or experience at this game. I was also extremely drunk.
I made my plays at random, going completely on intuition.
To the baffled astonishment of my friends, i won hand after hand after hand until I had amassed a huge pile of money.
I won almost continuously.
That was one of the only times I ever played poker. A lot of the time I was playing with my eyes closed.

10. I was at the cabin alone. I got a sudden sense of dread, and the thought of ghosts popped unbidden and forcefully into my mind.
I never normally think about ghosts. Suddenly I was afraid.
Shake it off, I thought to myself. I went to bed.
No sooner had I closed the door, turned off the light, and fell asleep, a loud crash came from the empty cabin outside.
Like a child I wanted to hide under my covers and pretend it hadn't happened.
No, I thought, fuck that, go face it, go find out what it was.
I go outside and see that framed picture has fallen off the wall. It depicts me, as a child, smiling.
All around the frame are words like "hope, love , trust" etc.
The picture has broken.
It seems intensely sinister, like something from a horror movie. Like this innocent picture of me offended some dark entity who had cast it down malevolently.
I went back to bed and fell asleep.
Suddenly, I was awoken with a start.
A bright white light was shining directly in my eyes. I was baffled and terrified.
Gradually, I stood up and saw what had happened.
Across the room from my bed was a dresser. On top of the dresser lay a black flashlight.
The flashlight had certainly been off when I fell asleep.
Whether it had always been pointed directly at where my face in the bed was, or whether whatever force was operating that night turned it on the dresser to shine directly in my eyes, I don't know.
What I do know, is that the flashlight was OFF when I went to sleep. And this flashlight, in order to turn on, required a person to grasp firmly the head of the flashlight in one hand and twist 180 degrees while holding the bottom of the flashlight with the other hand.
it required a fair bit of force to do. And yet somehow, and seemingly impossibly, this flashlight has been turned on in the night.
Which means, to my thinking, something turned the flashlight on the dresser to face me, then somehow invisibly grasped the flashlight and manipulated it somehow to turn 180 degrees so it shone directly in my face.
Later, we found a world war 2 Marine Combat Knife hidden in the walls of our cabin. It was an important historical artifact and useful and valuable tool.
Why would someone hide it in a wall?
The only answer that came to mind was that it was perhaps, a murder weapon.
The family that lived on the property before us were a very rough crowd indeed.
I don't know for sure, or if that relates.
The land our cabin is on was also an important site for Indigenous / First Nations people historically. Many lived and died on that land, and when the colonizers came and spread disease many died there in sudden misery.
Could any of that be related to the seemingly paranormal picture being knocked off the wall and flashlight being turned on?

10. Another time I was in the same cabin with my wife. We watched "paranormal activity". I enjoyed it and we went to bed.
In the night, and all through the night, a series of loud raps, bangs, crashes and bumps resounded loudly throughout the cabin, repeatedly.
They were EXACTLY the sounds the poltergeist makes in paranormal activity. I have never heard those sounds at my cabin before or since.
They seemed impossibly loud and impossible to account for, as if an invisible force was banging a fist on the walls.
I spent the night in terror, to be honest.
I should also mention that at this same cabin, my wife would regularly awake in the middle of the night in an intense terror and panic. She would clutch at me and scream my name and beg me to turn on the light, which I would do.
This happened EVERY time we slept at that cabin, and NEVER anywhere else.
My father later also related his own ghost stories from this same cabin.

11. I have recurring dreams of being in my basement and seeing a ghost there. I become terrified and overwhelmed by an eery presence and flee to my bedroom in the dreams. The ghost is always in the living room and these dreams recur.
I have no other recurring dreams.
This alone might not mean much. A related story is my little nephew who is like five years old became terrified in the basement, the very same room where I had my dreams.
He pointed in fear at t he top corner of the room. We saw nothing there, but he insisted there was a "bad, angry man"
He was totally sincere and scared. To be honest, so were we.

12. My wife and I were driving to pick up my sister in law from work. It was nightime in the city. We drove to the end of our street and in the sky we saw four bright orbs of orange light, large and mysterious, bright and unlike anything we had ever seen, floating there in the sky.
We were thunderstruck. We both became extremely excited and amazed. We were seeing UFOs.
That these were not planes, not helicopters, not stars, asteroids or planets, was beyond a doubt.
What they really were I can only conjecture, I only know I have seen nothing like them before or since.
We watched them in wonder for several moments as three remained still and one moved gently from left to right.
Three of them suddenly dissapeared. The other remained for several more moments, then it too disappeared.
Charged and thrilled by the experience, we went to pick up my sister in law.
We dropped her off at home, then returned to ours. As we did, we passed the same area in the sky we had seen the UFOs. My wife looked, and to our amazement, there was AGAIN an unknown light in the sky in the same spot.
This one was very different than the others. It was white-green and seemed triangular, while the others had been larger orange spheres.
It was hovering stationary right where the spheres had been.
We drove up to it and watched. Suddenly, as if it had sensed out presence, the green-white light began speeding away horizontally through the sky.
It made no sound, and was totally unlike a helicopter or plane.
We chased it in our car as long as we could, then lost it.
We had seen two different kinds of UFOS in the same patch of sky within 15 minutes of each other on the same night, a stones throw from our front door.
We have never seen anything like either object before or since.
OK, I could continue, but thats lots for now.
I would love to hear your thoughts!

How does intoxication explain accurate and verified predictions of the future or premonitions of distant events?
Again and again I acted in ways that were later confirmed by events, or predicted events before they happened, with witnesses who too this day also believe I predicted the future.

Yeah, thats another one! I have a lot more which I will write up eventually but its already too long for most so I will wait a while for people to work through the first two entries before I add more.
That was another legit psychic event though.

I remember once when I was strung out & hopeless, I prayed to god for help out of desperation. A sense of calm & peace came over me, and I began to cry. Simultaneously it began raining. The rain & tears lasted a couple-few minutes then ceased simultaneously. Coincidence? Maybe, but that shit blew my mind.

Also, I often brag about my huge dick. Its quite enormous for a white dude.

My moms fiancee overdosed in his sleep on prescriptions in 2001. The ambulance came and took him away, and police sealed off the bedroom with police tape. The living room was directly under the bedroom. There were about 5 people all sitting in the living room and we all heard someone walking around in the room that was sealed off with police tape. There was no one else in the house except us in the living room.
Another time some friends and I were hanging out doing 2c-E/I and MXE. The living room and kitchen were only separated by a bar-style counter top, and the light switch was over the sink. The light was off in the kitchen and it randomly switched itself on. We all looked right when it came on, and everyone that was there was in the living room. That shit was creepy.
Other times on nitrous/2c-B combo's I've seen what appeared to be future events and going-ons in different parts of the world. Clearly this was "drug-induced" but I explored some of what the visions were showing me and they were dead-on.

In that vein, December 2004 I was tripping on DPT. Somewhere in the peak I had a vivid vision of horrified people, including those of Asian descent, on a destroyed tropical paradise. The vision wasn't just visual; it was palpable.....it was as though I was there. The emotional pain I felt is something I'll never forget. The next day I turned on the news, and it was all about the infamous tsunami. My mind was blown. I checked out the timezone difference, and the exact moment it hit, I was mid-peak. I'm a skeptical soul, but I can't explain that one away.

I'm not outright dismissing the possibility that psychedelics tune one in to say, cosmic woo-woo forces or something slippery like that, but I've yet to experience anything I would call supernatural, and I'm afraid the testimonies of a frequent drug-user are not exactly an earth shattering revelation from my perspective. Still, cool stuff does happen on psychedelics yes

This is actually really cool. Somebody studied the psychic abilities of autistic children, turns out nonverbal autistic children are much more likely to be psychic than the average population, when experimented on they have over 90% accuracy in their abilities.

Keep in mind only some of these events occurred under the influence of psychedelics , and even those that occurred when I was intoxicated or high or psychotic occurred in the presence of other witnesses who were sober and verified the events .
Unless I am lying (which I am not) these events And their implications can't be dismissed on the basis of drugs or alcohol due to the fact that many (such as the UFO and ghost events, and about half the telepathic and precognitive events that I have experienced ) occurred either when sober or in the presence of corroborating witnesses.
I regularly experience telepathy with my wife in day to day life for example, when sober .
I will update this thread and add more and more of my experiences as soon as possible .
Also, please everyone share any of your own related stories.

I believe you. I've had a bunch of preconitive experiences, and at least a few that I consider telepathic or miraculous. Plus UFO stuff as well.
There is actually vastly more to reality than most human beings normally perceive. In fact I'm starting to suspect that there is a kind of muggle and magic factor that allows people to seemingly exist in the same world while having very different experiences. It is as if our states of mind help dictate the kinds of experiences that are possible.
I mean look at something like UFOs and events like the Phoenix Lights. Here you have thousands of people see and document something and mainstream science is still completely oblivous. If you look around you can find people in government and military coming out and admitting that there are non human craft apparently operating on this planet.
In certain circles the existence of non human visitors is undenied and undeniable. Groups of like minded people can sometimes even cause alien craft to show themselves, as I've seen done. It is just completely obvious that there is something very real to the phenomenon.
Yet step into a a different social and cultural slot and you can spend your whole life outside and never see a thing. Even as a someone who has studied the issue you begin to doubt your own certainty. It is like the collective consciousness pulls you into a different version of reality.
Yea, I've seen enough to be quite certain that there is vastly more to life than what we normally perceive. Plus I am also pretty sure that our perspective and beliefs influence which of the many sides of reality we notice. Like some kind of multifaceted, multi dimensional object, life usually only shows us the sides that align with our desired experiences. Hence a world where this stuff can seem both commonplace and completely impossible depending on who you ask.

13. I was with my wife watching a how about an apocalypse. It made me think of a bible verse where Jesus discusses the apocalypse and I quoted it "in those days when it happens let those who are on the rooftops not even go back into the house but flee for the mountains. How terrible it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!"
After saying this verse aloud I wandered over to the bookshelf on the wall. Absent minded lay I noticed a red book. I wasn't sure what it was so I took it off the shelf. Sure enough it was a bible. I opened it to a completely random page and my eye fell on a random part of the page.
I was thunderstruck. My eyes had fallen instantly on the exact verse I had just quoted aloud a moment before .

14. I was at a music festival with about Six friends. We were all zoned out , stoned in the sun sitting in a circle on camp chairs staring vacantly at the ground .
Suddenly, with zero signal or message before hand, everyone at once began singing the same song in unison starting at exactly the same time and same part of the song.
No one so much as looked at each other before this happened.
It was straight up group telepathy.

15. I was at a friends house and we were all tripping on mushrooms. I became totally fixated on this statement "It is what it is, though". I said this over and over thinking it was somehow profound.
Suddenly my friends eyes go wide and he leaps up and runs off. He comes back with a small book and brings it to me. He opens to the dedication page at the front of the book and shows me.
It has my first name and a dash and then says the exact quote I had been saying.
So if my name was thomas the book literally says "Thomas- it is what it is, though"
With the "though" even. Furthermore , the book was about a boy my own age using psychedelics.

16. When my cat got older he started making a funny sound. I told my dad "I think he has water in his lungs and he has cancer and he is going to die"
My dad was dismissive being like "why would you even say that ? He is fine"
We took him to the vet. They ran some tests and said "I'm sorry but your cat has cancer, it's caused water to build up in his lungs. He is going to die"

More to come ...

I had just been released from city jail after my last of several DUI arrests. I was laying on my kitchen floor looking up at the ceiling fan for, I don't know how long...a couple hours, I think. I muttered the words..."God help me". I have not had a drink or a desire to drink since that day...nearly 18 years ago.
During those years, I have had many moments where God showed up in moments of confusion or to just acknowledge that I was on the right track. I am not a bible thumper...nor, do I believe in any organized religion, but, I believe whole-heartedly that there is a Spirit that really does care about us...It has no face and many times it comes to me through other people or through animals. This power is felt the most when I am trying to help others. I fully realize today that spirituality in general and my faith in it.. is a strength and not a weakness.
