Thanks guys.. noticed the strange growth too and thought it was cool so I snapped a pic.
Thinking of going back bring it home maybe see how she blossoms out. Would be cool to add to the garden.
A little expensive though.

Those are some pretty cacti!
The big box department stores have been killing it this summer. I have never seen so many awesome cacti/succulents for sale everywhere. God bless pinterest I guess.
